just some thoughts. not sure if they will help or not. but just in case: -don't try to get more than 6 hours sleep at a time. -don't go to bed for the night, until you've been up for 16 hours. (I get it, that the math here is not adding up right. but I'm trying. forging ahead.) -exercise - short naps are ok. and could help the cause. they perhaps can help, by rejuvenating you a bit. that way, you're not overtired, and too tired to fall asleep at night. - it takes energy to fall asleep. thus, perhaps the nap thing. - hypnotize yourself. - dark room. - fan on low speed. not pointed at you. but circulating air in the room. you need air, you need to be able to breathe good. through both nostrils. - sleep with a sheet. room should ideally be cool. not cold. but cool enough that you need at least a sheet, and maybe a blanket too. when you lie down to sleep, your body temp drops. - easy on the caffeine, if its past lunch time. maybe 1 cup of tea. if more, decaf.

How was the article though? Haha
utterly extra super extremely hilarious. I saw him in 78 or thereabouts. also, greatest show I ever saw. huge fan of Born to Run album. desert island album level. also like a few other tunes by him, but very unfamiliar with most of his other work.
started watching a show I taped a while back called the Ties that Bind. really good.

I bought it in January and again in February. hmmm.
edit: I just added it to my cart. it was gonna let me order it. (I even tried it twice, to double check.) it said nothing about being currently unavailable.

I have a Shannon Rhoades 251. it is awesome. I love it. here are more thoughts: - its super flattering to my voice. - it sounds beautiful - it is inspiring - it builds confidence into my heart and soul, because of how much I like how I sound through it - full, rich robust - pleasing, reedy, buzzy in a most pleasing and lovely sounding way - ecstatically glorious - always knew it could be this good, and here it is - highly recommend getting one - holy grail level microphone - on a whole 'nother level - I sing Sinatra, James Taylor, and so on songs, and I pull them off, in style. (like wow, I like it. alot.) note: this is not meant to be me bragging about how good I am. this is meant to be trying to get the word out, about Shannon's 251. it is all that. and way more. I highly recommend that you contact him. micrehab.com/

thats really tough for me to guess. on one hand, I think it will be fun to experiment with different plugins. that said, if I find something that I vastly prefer, I'll set that one, and forget. so maybe that makes my answer all of the above.

and if you have time and feel like it, Dr. Bill, please, what do you think about it for recording vocals while accompanying myself on acoustic guitar? music styles: anything from the 20's to the present day, that I think sounds pretty.

roger that. I bought mine around 8 years ago or so. it was damaged when I bought it, so it was cheap. got it fixed. it's a good guitar.
