You can use the lightning network to transfer funds instantly internationally. This will put western union out of business.

I've been giving it a good run for the last hour or so against my Sta-Level (Retro). They are different beasts to be sure but I would lean on them for similar duties. First impressions are very good indeed. I spend a lot of time printing vocals and bass tracks through my Sta as nothing in software does what it does. The El Rey is quite competitive and in some cases, preferable. I'll definitely be checking this one out.

Relative to each other. That's what I'm saying. So bizarre YIKES! I misunderstood too. Are you splitting that stereo signal between two interfaces? That would be my first thought.... But if they are on the same interface, that's definitely strange. Same interface. I'm gonna have to do some more troubleshooting.

In rereading...do you mean you have a stereo track sent out and back in that the NEW stereo file is 15 samples off the first, or that the L and R channel of the new files are 15samples off EACH other? My answer was regarding the first. If it's the second and the L&R channels of the return are messed up relative to EACH OTHER...there's something seriously wrong. But, 15 samples on a loopback is functionally better than my LogicX ever got...on the same hardware that Mixbus and Cubase were spot on. Obviously YMMV. Relative to each other. That's what I'm saying. So bizarre

New empty project.
Track 1 / Native Tone generator plug -> 23/24 Track 2 / input spdif 1/2 (b2 bomber)
Also tried
Track 1 / tone gen -> 23 into mult
Mult into track 2 input spdif 1/2 bomber
Also tried Inputs into two mono tracks instead of stereo track.
Also tried two inputs in apogee 3/4 instead of bomber.
I came into this when we were aligning our atr 102. We saw it on the o scope and then found it in logic as well.

What do you mean 'it'? Logic? That is so f'd. So if I send a mix out 23/24 when it comes back in the l/r channels are 15 samples misaligned? That's bonkers. There is no way that is an acceptable margin of error.

Hey guys. I'm running latest logic update. I have two symphony mk1 chassis 40x40. I'm sending 1k out 23 to a mult Back in 39/40 I'm getting around 15 samples worth of phase shifting (latency?) on the return between the two channels. I checked different outs and ins on the apogee's I also tried going in through my Burl b2. Could logic be doing this? Has anyone heard of this happening? Did I get slipped acid?

I gotta say...I just spent 30 minutes with it...and it does some good things...but not really anything any different from what I already have. For the life of me, I can't really hear the pre selections changing much of anything. Maybe more distortion when cranking the input, but...ok. Maybe the V72 is a little rounder. The comps are pretty cool...but I couldn't really get anywhere near what I get when putting the David Bendeth Compex on the drums. The EQs are good - but just like the real Helios, rudimentary and limited. Maybe someone can tell me if I'm doing something wrong...otherwise, this is one I'd skip. couldnt agree more here unfortunately.

I still can’t get on board with the compression. I'm no master here, but I do like the gold2 compressor well enough.

Miad eq's came yesterday. I've used them for about 6 hours. These things are pretty amazing. Really sad sounding when you switch them off even with just .5-1 db here and there. I could not be happier with these... unless they had 1db stepped attenuators. Miad's almost make the pultecs redundant and they are more useful too. Yes! They are special aren't they? More than just an EQ. CONGRATS!! i may be in honeymoon but they may be my favorite that I've heard. You can't use them for everything that's for sure but boy oh boy do they sound rich. I think at this point nothing else would be 'better', just 'different'.

Get Serial number send to Neumann. Turns out mine is a 2014. What range serial would put it at an’08, roughly? my guess is 1-700. I'm certain it goes to 550.

Pulled the trigger on some miad 4040's we shall see.
Still absolutely loving the early Tlm capsule in the u67 reissue. Un-Real. Do it! Smooooth.

So I bought an '08 Tlm 67. My intention was to use the capsule in my m269c. However, the headstock is not directly replaceable between the Tlm 67 and the m269. It is however directly replaceable with the u67 reissue. The og cap from the u67 sounds awesome. But, I found the Tlm capsule sounds even better. Smoother. (Confirmation bias?) The difference between the u67 mic and the Tlm 67 regardless of capsule is the Tlm sounds flat 2D and the u67 sounds 3D with depth and openness. Not subtle. So now I'm looking for another '08 Tlm for the m269. I've sent it to shannon two times and it's just not cutting it. First it was pinched and nasally, now it is just nasally and light on the bass. Kinda bummed about that, but the '08 cap sounds so good it may be worth it to just go that route. I'm about to have two Tlm 67 bodies up for sale if anyone wants 'em... or maybe I'll just swap out the m269 cap with the reissue 67 cap. Decisions decisions How can I date my TLM67? Get Serial number send to Neumann.

Dave Grohl. Play. There are some YouTube videos of the individual parts that were fun to check out. They were using this mic for hats percussion and acoustics. I'm guessing it's a sdc in omni. I'm curious if anyone knows what it is? photos.app.goo.gl/Aad12TPhgtTKPRom6

If you're going to be taking up space, go the utilitarian approach with nearly the same footprint and more functionality. You can use a rolling tool cabinet. Harbor Freight has good quality boxes... around $90. - $160. with storage space..
great price. That would be ergonomic torture however.

Thanks guys. My desk is kinda useless as is. Too big and I want to simplify. The sound anchors is kinda perfect. Going to visualize more and make a decision. It would be so nice to have an narrow computer desk with just speakers next to it.
I have the can mac. I could probably attach it to the post with zip ties and rubber lengths. Long thunderbolt cables are pricey. It will be fun figuring this all out.

I see these all the time in studios. A little side-car computer stand. Minimal and sturdy. I've searched all over the internet and can't find what I'm looking for. Does anyone know what company makes a good one?
