Thanks for noticing! It's been kind of a soft launch because we wanted to get enough stock in the store before sending out the newsletter, etc. And sorry for the confusion—it is in stock but we had a glitch this afternoon for a couple hours. For those just tuning in, yes, we do have a new version of the Palette available. New features are individual drive/trim controls for each Colour and a master bypass. All of the controls a detented for stereo matching and recall. And the price has gone up only slightly to $149 for the kit. petersongoodwyn Thanks for the info! Now with palette modules #5 & 6 incoming I'd like to refresh info about power draw vs VPR specs, especially since they are going to be used in API Lunchboxes. I believe I've seen it somewhere. Searched a little but didn't find the info. The palettes are spec'ed to max 140mV and this includes the colours used, right? Some colours seem to have the draw speced, others not, is that right? Anyway this is the kind of info I'm looking for so any direction/link would be appreciated

The palettes are spec'ed to max 140mV and this includes the colours used, right? Yep, that's right. All of the Colours are expected to draw less than 38mA. We haven't measured current draw specs for all of them, but the Palettes have self-resetting fuses that trip around 130mA and we've never seen one trip when loaded up with Colours. www.diyrecordingequipment.com/pages/colour-designer-s-toolkit

My order got very delayed, because USPS decided to ship to Toronto instead of Stockholm , but yesterday night was a good night to put them together. Another AWESOME kit from Peterson & co! Though I kind of like the original matte finish for a bit of an east german broadcast feel, and they have been working just great, right now I can't shake it off that I should replace all for MkII. So if you're not into DIY and want to buy my old Colour palettes send me a PM! Attachments:
