I wonder if his developers figured out an efficient way to model the circuits directly, instead of the response curves. I have the feeling, if someone can do it, it's Fabrice. I like Slate's stuff it's always top notch. I just wish FG-X would be 64-bit soon.

He'd be treated with a bit more respect here.

I think it's actually a take on the slate Dragon, which is 1176 based.

I spoke with Steven at AES for a few minutes and then spent some more time in the Ocean Ways/Slate/ RED room. We spoke about Logic X a little, and they're working on it for the Ravan. My impression was he's honest , a musician first, and a true gearhead, I'd trust his word about things. I miss FG-X too, it's much harder to bring up to 64 bits than some other plugs for numerous reasons, but I do hope it's at least here before Christmas.
Slate's products are getting better and better.

It's been 64bit for Windows for years. I was joking that it won't run on your computer....because of the OS. Install Windows on your machine, and you can have the 64bit version, too.

Is Slate planning on dropping in here?
One of these days he's going to roll out a DAW with all of his plugins built right into it optimized for the Ravens.
