Sounds Great...did you compress the track separate from the vocal? Also, is there tuning and if there is does it cause you to Eq differently? I am always disappointed when I throw a tuner on a track and hear that phase thing that happens.
Love the song...I would take up a half step if you can still get that little bit of growl that I heard in the chorus still(don't think I ever heard that from you.)

I could de-ess a little...but it didn't particularly bother me - but what do I know?

I have the Vari Mu taking a tiny bit off of the master. BTW - that's not me singing.

I know i'm like a broken record, but de ess into the verb, and that vocal will be smashingly badass!! IMO 8)

I enjoyed the production, a lot of dynamic range in that vocal; good pipes !

Voice sounds marvellous in this track. Really really good. I guess it's a matter of taste if to de-ess it a bit or not. I guess many would do it by habit, but to my ears it also sounds pretty good as is. The S's sound nice to me actually, not unpleasant.

Yeah, sometimes de-essing is subjective. I'll have to listen to this again, but you're probably right, I could take a little edge off of the delay.

It's all just taste of course, but to be clear, I think there is absolutely nothing wrong with the S's, it's just wholly unnatural to reverberate them, in the real world they do not have the energy to travel far enough to be reverberated, it just strikes as strident and unsettling to my ears, it also ties the vox to the effects instead of allowing it to sit out front of them. I guarantee if you listen to that in the small environment of a car with all the glass, it will bounce all over the place and you will burn out quick. So JMO, if you de ess the vox into the verbs/delays/effects, you will have a perfect vox track imo, the vocalist and mic are totally pro! so's the tune 8)

I tried duplicating a guitar track and then tried incrementally delaying one track by .01 -.33 to use the doppler effect to pan, and it didn't work very well, hmm, back to the drawing board..
I almost forgot to try Tony's suggestion to deEss the verb, glad you mentioned it again Tony, will try soon.

Hass effect think doppler is the perceived pitch change due to sound pressure difference coming from a moving object as it approaches and then goes by your relative position ? but hey if recording your guitar tracks on the interstate works for you: go nuts you wacky newyorker you I keed I keed

Yes, meant Haas, thanks Kcat, I was doing too much too quickly today.
I should ask one of the wizards here to create a new plug, the Dopp-eller, whatever you do, you can't fix the pitch. Then offer it for free just to mess with auto-tune maniac's heads.
