If it's a source that doesn't need much (or any) low end, they work great. I've just never loved them on drums because I'm missing the bottom I like to hear. The one place I really like them is on the top of a Leslie speaker.

If you're interested in an Apogee Symphony I/O Mark I 8/8, I'll give you a good deal. I've been too busy to get around to selling it. It just got a firmware update at the factory, so it's ready to go with the latest Macs.

I’ll echo Jacob’s choice of the Beyerdynamic MC930s. Great mics.

I used to make the mistake of trying to use the M88 like an SM58 and eating it. I also wondered why everybody talked about it being a great vocal mic when on me it sounded like spitty garbage. Once I backed off to about a foot away, I figured out what everyone was talking about. Phil clearly figured that out.

If it's a real electromechanical keyboard, I think it will be in the 5K range.

I'd be surprised and disappointed if this is digital. Wurlitzer is apparently owned by Gibson now for what that's worth. The emulations have gotten so good, I can't imagine they could sell many if it's just digital.

Ever since I had Murph Wanca here in Nashville go through mine a few years ago, it has played like a dream and required zero maintenance. I would never think about gigging with it though.

I have two Redco TT bays that I need to relabel. Happy to be a tester. Count me in for this too!

Sorry, Ben. I’ve been in Nashville 5 years and we’ve never had weather like this. Hope this happens later.

Love my big Latch Lakes. My only beef is with the wheels. I wish they had three wheels for easier moving.

I did this earlier this year. I went with all CAPI (4 BT50s, 2 LC25s, and 2 LC40s).

I just bought a refurbed M1 Max MBP last week. It’s a little frustrating, but I’m certain it will more than meet my needs coming from a 2012 MBP.

Seawell is absolutely right about the Korby 67M head. That mic is special and I’ve never heard a better vocal mic. Good to know Dave can fix them. He’s excellent.

I had a Korby Convertible system with 47, 67M, 251 and 12 heads for many years. The 67M and 251 heads are excellent. I rarely found use for the 47 and 12 heads. I haven't heard the C800 head. A couple of factors would steer me away from buying one today. First, I'm not sure of anyone who services these mics. Mine needed servicing a couple of times over the years. At that time Korby was still in business, and the repairs took an extraordinary amount of time. Without a reliable tech servicing these, I would steer clear. Second, I think you can get two or three more reliable mics for the $5,200 they are asking.
