Either that, or they went against the onboard tealight. They're scaling back the whole "warm" theme.

Got around to setting up the inserts on my patchbay
Pretty straight forward 2 pairs of m>m ts: from send/receive to patchbay
I liked the idea of not just tracking with the pre into the eq but also using just the eq during mix down, either on individual channels or stereo pairs or 2 bus.
The inserts are post eq and you can grab the signal from the outs on my patchbay and back to logic I/o plug in insert
If you turn off eq you can hear the pre eq signal from your daw, push in eq, the post eq sound ,so easy to a/b
If you want to re-amp ,can do that too, come in line and get the pre and eq on the signal.
Was looping a logic drum track just playing with settings, certainly a nice compliment to the Delta and Electra eqs I have
The extra wa eq settings come in handy, for tweaking and repeatability.

Has anyone compared the Warm and Heritage units side by side?

Do you mean sonically or build ? As build is very different.
Long argumentative thread at gs a while back.

Sonically. I spent some time in the gs thread and while helpful pretty much all you can hear after a page or so is the sound of people peeing on each other's shoes.

I thought there was a Soundpure video comparing them but it looks like it doesn’t have the Heritage.
I’ve owned the WA2A, EQP-WA, WA76, and the WA47 so I guess I’m pretty susceptible to the marketing. I sold the compressors and moved on to other things but I got good use out of them when I had them. I would say just try it out for a while and if you don’t like it put it on Reverb.
I’ve also used the Chameleon Labs 7602 and I really like that EQ for stuff like kick or guitars. I imagine the Warm or Heritage is at least as good as that.

Hopefully me posting my experience doesn't ignite a flame war like at GS. I had both the Warm and Heritage Elite 1073 units. In the end I didn't like either enough to keep them. That being said they're both great bargains and are worth at least as much as what they charge for them.
The Warm smears the sound in a way, is slow with transients, and lacks sub-bass. The EQ is pretty useful. The 50 hz filter is really cool.
The Heritage is almost hard sounding. Not as "warm" as a Neve. Heritage got a batch of loose filter knobs and shipped them out anyway. Also the DI either stopped working or never worked. When I tried contacting Heritage via their website they never got back to me.
The two 1073s that have stayed in my rack are the BAE and Stam with Sowters. They're different but both awesome in their own way. Great River is equally awesome but not a Neve clone imo.

I appreciate the perspective guys. They seem fairly comparable but different and I liked the clips I've heard from both for different reasons.
The only way really know is to get one or the other in my space so I went with the Heritage. We'll see...

Chameleon labs gets a bad rep but it's somewhat deserved. If you are willing to swap the xfmr it's a good piece of gear. That said retail is blah at best. If you are not looking at reselling you can swap a lot of the components and xfmr and it's pretty damn good sounding. I used the wa73 in a session and to be truthful I liked it. I like the great river more but it's the tone and hardness that I like, and not necessarily the equivalence to the Neve units. Another really good Neve inspired piece is the Vintage Designs line. They are also TK Audio and I have found their stuff to be top notch neve-ish sounding gear.

I wonder how the Alctron versions compare? Chris I think they’re probably quite decent, based on the TNC group buy stuff.
