I really do wish one of these affordable brands would have attempted the 1084 instead of the 1073. The 1084 EQ is so much more versatile. These look really nice though.

I really like how they got in deep with the component build quality.

If you take another look you will see they've actually included a 1084 high shelving style EQ with 10khz, 12khz and 16khz frequencies.

Yeah- sorry, missed that when I was looking at it on my phone (my bad) that's why 1k would be killer - 2k is just outside the budget, and no cheaper than 2 heritage single channels. stereo rack looks REAL cool though..

I'm curious to hear what people say about them and how they compare to a few other brands, but this is nice. Could also get one upgraded if you wanted to get a little closer to the Neve sound.

Have you read the parts list ? What would you suggest upgrading

Have you read the parts list ? What would you suggest upgrading Honestly, it just depends on what it sounds like. Otherwise I would see what the guys at Revive Audio have to say about an upgrade. I will never pretend that I am a tech or DIYer.

NO issue with saying listen to it. I know a little about the back story with the pre. I won't be changing anything

There's nothing to change or upgrade. Maybe a mariner for a carnhill but at that point you might as well change them in your vintech, heritage, aml, etc... Looks really nice at any rate. I'm sure I'll get one. Or three.

Really interested in the 273 EQ. That would be a nice addition to my set up over here.

Would love to know prices. If I had my guess, I bet it's going to be a little higher than Heritage.

Would love to know prices. If I had my guess, I bet it's going to be a little higher than Heritage. If you're right on that John, I think it's a no brainer for the Heritage. The only reason to go Warm would be the optional HF points on the EQ version. Heritage has got this thing right from what I've heard of their hand wired units. BTW, kind of freaky how close these look and are priced to each other, the form factors, and the release dates, etc.. Must have been quite the horse race to the finish line.....
