I have and use the EVM here. I'm cheap and a little clever so I didn't need to have one built for me. I replaced the BB INA input design for a couple of decent opamps and I love the results.

I want both as well, BUT WHAT WOULD BE REALLY COOL!
A modular system ala Burl with 2 ch cards a single beefy PSU sort of a Ross Martin 500 series , I can live with SPDIF/ AES but if you could build other interfaces into frame / A module...,

Hey, Johnkenn, could we maybe branch this homebrew conversion into a new thread to have all the info in one, tidy, place? SPDIF carries 2 channels right? So in theory, I could hang a stereo a/d and a stereo d/a off of a SPDIF in and out on a cheap USB interface (ala Focusrite 18i8) and be in business? I basically want a high grade a/d to capture my mixes from the console and quality d/a to monitor the capture from. |

C, with your know how, if you did this, i think you'd kill it, it would also light a fire under Ross's ass to get people the products they paid for? he's either totally Lazy(doubt it), or totally swamped, which all but assures you of a nice piece of an underserved market... just sayin 8) |

You can make your SPDIF ADC a master clock and then clock your interface and your DAC from it (the preferred method). SPDIF doesn't carry a clock signal itself, but the clock is reconstructed from the datastream. |

I doubt it, i think i'm going to hear the faint sound of a "Yeeeeeeha!!!" in SoCal coming from the direction of KY/OH area when he gets it 8)
