cowboy: thx coming from you that means a lot: a day and a half recording a 4 minute song and i still feel it could be better ! Big thx to everyone, beautiful experience having that wonderful mix to play in ! I tried to keep things interesting for cowboy: knowing martin used the 84's and his big martin cannon, i switched up used a larrivee mahogany new strings a neumann 102 at neck and my c12 diy above guitar too my right clean settings on warm tb12's Tried to give cowboy a whole other sound at source ! Martin and i discussed track and i wanted an alternate tuning in G: martin suggested DGDGBD, so i had to figure something out. Thx Martin and for the changes ! Thx Cowboy for Daniel's mom's message: very touching and moving !

cindi's psalm
He is young as innocence: Fine as truth A gift of god: of our love To give back to the heavens I will not mourn you But celebrate your spirit And the beauty of your gentle heart Cherished in our souls always Little one , you are my soul's sun Shine, on and on, and on In our hearts: always I will hear the echo of your first breaths in the soft evening winds of summer I will feel your gentle embrace In the feelings that linger in my heart I will know the beauty of you , in my hopes for your peacefulness I will dream of your tomorrow's still, Even though they may be unknown to me Part of the sweet little mystery: this miracle of you Love you, always , as parents and family always do In reaching for my partner's hand , i will know the touch of you In tomorrows' sunsets, I will see the light of your eyes In tomorrows' moonlight : the beauty of your thoughts In the never ending sky : the love in my heart Solace in the thought that you will be in a better place: a place of grace, as always intended. We are humbled by the gift of you.

Just so there is no confusion, Daniel's song has lyrics: this is the poem i wrote the other day: just felt motivated tp share it after reading about Daniel's life.

Cowboy, I just posted a SOLO and and OUTRO at Dropbox. The solo is at the second open space.
Jerome, if cowboy still needs a crunchy electric rhythm, I'd be glad if you could do it.

This is something that no parent should have to experience in their lifetime and I saw your post now RicFoxx and it hurts to read. So is there anything we do here to give Daniel's parents some sense of hope, strength, so it's the least we can do for them. The pieces begin to fall into place with the song and I am strongly considering Selling my drums and buy a fiddle after hearing @ cowboycoalminer in mix 4, hoa! Keep up the good spirit Brothers! /H Dude.... you just rock man.... that's all I have to say about that.

I put some down henge, but yours might be better, seeing as I'm not a pro just wanting to lend a hand to a great cause. Really beautiful song, I enjoyed taking a stab at it.

Go for it Anton, cowboy can sort it out I'll send you the Solo files, in case it helps any. If you have any solo ideas that might work better, go for that too

I didn't know you had laid down the tracks. I don't want to step on your contribution. Thanks for doing the guits. I've been slammed lately!

Can never have too many!! It will actually serve to make the mix pop with several setups to put in different spots. Send them on when you get time Anton. I know your busy. I too have been very busy lately. Feast or famine seems like sometimes.

I too have been very busy lately. Feast or famine seems like sometimes. Cool! I've got a bit of time off now...hopefully it won't be famine!! ;-) I'll start in tomorrow morning. Martin's sending his lead through tonight as well.

Is there anything left I can do? Play in the holes through that Vox on the verses JK. And you can throw in a few tasteful licks on the choruses as well if you like. Your getting a great guitar sound out of that thing.

Boy, that's coming along beautifully. I do hope the solo works when you fly it in. It's sounding so polished in a good way, well done Cowboy. I think this will bring some joy to Daniel's family , and Daniel too.
Besides the FLAT copy, I sent you a file of the solo with all the processing, Re-amped, EQ, Compressor, Delay, Reverb, etc. Just in case it fits better, or you need to save time.

Just bouncing down the rhythm's. Cowboy I took the liberty of doubling your first two solo lines with a guit. It's up to you if it fits...;-) Also put some chugging 8th's in under the solo. They might fit in nicely.
