This Friday we will ship 196 to 202. Multiply that by 100 hours each. We made a video of the entire production timeline which should be ready soon. We have 4 guys working on them an each one makes about 6 units a month. That's 24 units a month when things are normal which sadly has only been 4 months this year. Some pictures attached from our clients and serial numbers

Fair is fair, obviously there are things people can be critical about : delays, etc., but I notice that, when a lot of people might have cut and run: folding their tents in the night: you guys are hanging in there through thick and thin, producing difficult to build units, working away at the backlog and making progress.
In challenging times, there is something to be said for building people up?

Please no trolling. You can complain...but stay under the bridge if you’re wanting to troll.

Trying to. Just want to make sure there isn't anything funky with it. I've had to send a pair of the 1073EQ's and the ADG in for repair after receiving them from Stam. Just really going over it with a fine tooth comb. The only thing that's a bit weird is a volume jump on the bypass. Haven't gotten an answer to that yet. Looks to need some calibration tweaking to the meters and output of 1 channel, but very minor and looks to be super easy. It's a pretty transparent compressor. stam has really done an excellent job with this piece! Really stoked to finally have it!

I made one of those silly unboxing videos. I don't do this, ever. First time, actually. But, my eight year old daughter is into stuff like this, so she wanted to do it!
I plan to use this on a tune I'm mixing. I hope to post tracks soon. Josh, if you swing by this thread, I'd love to know more about the bypass volume jump.

Congratulations Indiehouse!
I'm excited about the 660. I like but don't love LA2A's, don't care much for 1176's except for guitars, never had a Tube Tech to try, but a Fairchild was always my holy grail. I should be getting a 660 soon and will follow up with tracks and a video for sure.

Just that it's in the works now. With all that's happening globally with manufacturers, parts and shipping, it still may be a while. I think it's gutsy for Stam to go for a Fairchild sound !

Just didn't know if you'd heard something. I still wouldn't mind of of the 670s but just not in the cards right now.

I have a pair of Anamod 660's if we ever want to run files thru them and the Stamchild for some fun.

Can we talk Fairchild attack/release times?

Can we talk Fairchild attack/release times? They are pretty unique well the release times are anyways. ATTACK TIME: .2 milliseconds on positions 1, 2 and 6 .4 milliseconds on positions 3,4 and 5 (adjustable) RELEASE TIME: Position 1: .3 sec Position 2: .8 seconds Position 3: 2 seconds Position 4: 5 seconds Position 5: Automatic function of program material: 2 seconds for individual peaks. 10 seconds for multiple peaks. 25 seconds for consistently high program level. Granted that's the original setting. Stams may be slightly different.

I've always heard there are allot of tubes in total in fairchild's. But does anyone know how many tubes actually just effect the audio/sonic's path in a 660 or 670 ? I'm wondering if you wanted to do NOS tubes for just the sonic's path would it still be allot or just a few?

I'm wondering if you wanted to do NOS tubes for just the sonic's path would it still be allot or just a few? I think it would be a lot. I mean they are handling the audio signal and the gain reduction. Think it's 9 tubes per channel, so 18 overall in a 670. How many are directly in the audio path I don't know someone else smarter will have to say.
