I just bought a Focusrite Clarett OctoPre 8 channel mic preamp on Reverb to add another 8 channels of analog I/O to my old RME Fireface UC interface.

Picked up an old MXR phase 90. The orange kind. Gnarly but works. Funny, but the new song I'm working on - and testing out my "latest gear" Roswell K67 on - is all about the Small Stone. Not enough songs about phase shifters in the world, I say!

When is an ATC not an ATC? Well when it’s in a EAW JF200e! Yep a pair showed up last night. Prior owner resprayed them white, but we shall return them to their original black. Interesting Audio Trivia While EAW is well known for its association with RCF ( Loud bought RCF because of all the OEM work they did for EAW , then years later after being freed from the Clutches of Mackie RCF bought EAW) and B&C compression drivers ( these use a EAW Branded B&C 750). The original US importer of ATC was Forsythe Audio , the company that would evolve into what we know as EAW!

The Fulcrum stuff is great, but I have to say the Vule Audioteknic Line Array is the best I have heard from the EAW alumni.

The new Squier 12 string Jazzmaster showed up today. I had been trying to limit the gear purchases this year, but it was pretty much an automatic buy once I heard about its existence. Pretty fun to noodle with.

Pretty fun to noodle with. Always had this soft spot for Jazzmasyers and. Mustang bass’s. Was never a 12 string player but still congrats on taking the risk on the underrAted Fender. I’m slays proud of those who have the guts to take the road less traveled.

I have traded 4 Prism Titans and got a 32 Aurora n HD in the same size as 1 Prism. I also got a Dangerous Music Liason. So that will free up some space and be better for mixing and mastering. I also picked up a V comp in the U.K. with the 6386.

Crucial audio Studio nugget arrived yesterday.. Tube prime delay to replace my Echo-fix. Fantastic build, sounds great! Their Echo nugget pedal is well known but I hadn't heard anyone uses the studio nugget.

And the headstock is iconic.

My Heiserman 47 showed up today with the capsule rolling around loose in the head basket Well f@@k you very much FedEx Oh, man...sorry to hear this. How disappointing and what a hassle. I know this has been mentioned in other threads, but it seems like every shipping company now has total disregard. Almost everything I get now is mangled and/or with holes, slices, crushed, and/or retaped. Left on the front step with no doorbell ring or simple knock. Like they're trying to dump and escape so they don't have to answer to anyone. You won't even know it's been delivered unless you sign up for alerts (which are usually late). And the sellers are often just as culpable in the careless way things are packaged. Used to just be an issue with USPS, but now they're all irresponsible. I guess that's the price we pay for "free shipping".

Absolutely right ! Yesterday FedEx left my Barefoot 02 ‘s which were to be signed for on the porch overnight with no knock or doorbell. FedEx says it was signed for by wife’s initials but she wasn’t home yesterday and when I asked for proof they can’t provide it !!!!!’ Luckily I live in a good neighborhood

FedEx says it was signed for by wife’s initials but she wasn’t home yesterday and when I asked for proof they can’t provide it !!!!!’ Luckily I live in a good neighborhood Ah Yes the lies of delivery companies “ I’m sorry sir, but our driver attempted to enter your building but could not.” “You might want to teach your drivers not to lie and the simple fact that most large buildings particularly residential towers have cameras on every entrance and a simple run of video on each side of the time listed as attempted delivery shows no one from your company attempting to enter, I do see one of your trucks parked by a door clearly marked exit only but no one even attempted to leave the truck.” We are sorry sir but the fact remains the driver attempted delivery!” No, you have no proof other than a GPS track that shows the vehicle was within 3 feet of a parking spot near the building, The Fact, and it indeed is a fact because I can provide video for the time period off every entrance to the building for the stated time period is that your driver did not attempt to deliver, unless of course you now consider sitting in the truck and picking your nose a delivery attempt. Oh also every entrance has instructions of how to reach the guard to let you in from the designated cellphone, I can just as easily provide these as the time stamped video.”

I guess that's the price we pay for "free shipping". Just so you know.. a lot of “contract” labor is used in that world. Employees paid a flat day rate. Some middle man loads the addresses in google maps, says “sure our guy can deliver 100 packages in 8hours”. And that’s with no time for breaks, no time accounted for getting out of the vehicle, no time for signing for packages. And the employee won’t get any OT. Their only hope to get close to their agreed wage/ above minimum wage is throwing the packages and run. This is not the employee’s fault a single bit

The OG Aurora 8 doesn’t really compare to the 32 (n). The 8XR is a killer converter where the Titan doesn’t sound any better than an Avid 16io just quieter. According to a prism engineer the old models had much better power supplies which I suspect the new “dreams” have. They squeezed too much in the Titans.

I would ditch that box as fast as humanly possible and find something you can rely on and use with seamless ease. I'm not going to list all my grievances with the Titan and risk triggering potential brand fanboys lurking. My first move after the devastating financial kick in the teeth the Titan was to an Lynx Aurora 8. I was lucky that
a pro audio dealer friend of mine saw how my Titan deal went down and let into the Lynx on payments. He actually tried to warn me but I had to have it.
I will only say that I will never forgive PS or it's Australian distributor for the deceitful handling of the whole situation.
I lost somewhere near $5,100 Australian dollars in under 3 months on that DOA boat anchor. If PS was the last interface company on Earth I would never buy from them ever again. Dishonest doesn't even cover it.

I just bought a second MF-105M (midified filter bank) & a second MF-102 (CV controlled ring modulator) ! I fought hard to get them at a "decent" price. My quest to have a full Moogerfooger stereo setup continues.
