I did get a PM from Psycho_monkey today regarding the posting of this forum on there site. I am not going to repost it, I was asked not to and had it come from Jules I think I would have been much more inclined to simply paste it here. There are some good mods on Gearslutz but they all answer to a person who has some very odd views. I personally don't understand how he can post a link to his new forum when he has a rule stating that doing so isn't allowed. I got a lifetime ban for posting a GS pm here, the reality is, people post links to other sites constantly over there, and everywhere else on the net for that matter, their whole "dictatorship" approach toward this thing was BS from top to bottom, seriously, they instigated the banning's and ill will on their own. Their "dictators rule book for dummy's! doctrine, chased off a lot of valuable members who had contributed a large amount of knowledge to that forum(he says with a chaffing on his ass  ). Jules is a fraud, and gs is circling the drain, he's doing us a favor though, because all the guys who have iq's above a winter temperature, are coming here, and it's just the beginning. |

It's his forum to destroy. I'm gonna go make an account at that dads forum and act like a brat, see if the same policies are happening there. I also have had several gs usernames. Trolling accounts usually reserved for Kittonian or Alex Breaux who never contributed a single fucking shred of anything other than buy gear from me and and elitist dick measuring. When you're my age (23) rambling on about really pricey gear that is better than everyone else's gear BETTER HAVE SOME WORK BEHIND IT. Otherwise you're a spoiled hack.
GS is a source of constant ridicule at the Womb as well.

I'm finding that I automatically come here first, and if I have time then I may check out GS. There are some great GS threads, but you have to really search for them. Here, even if the topic isn't of particular interest to me, I learn something. The level of discourse, and the knowledge of participants (present company excepted, unfortunately) is amazing!

John, my shortcut method of GS navigation is to click on "New Posts", and you can more easily find new stuff without having to examine each forum and sub-forum. I appropriately get most of my GS reading done in the bathroom on my android phone, using the GS app.

Howdy everyone! I also followed the GS breadcrumb trail, thanks to cowboycoalminer. I'm using a different username here, just in case anyone doesn't know who "Watchtower" is. Ha! It was time for a name change anyway
The whole thing reminds me of a sports and video game forum I used to go to back in the early 2000's, and a couple popular members got banned. As a result, they started their own forum (a ProBoard, too!), and a whole bunch of people migrated and joined the new forum. The admin of the sports site had basically gone insane with the bannings, and then he started banning everyone who joined the new forum. That admin was demoted within a years time for falling off the deep end, but I don't know if anyone ever went back to the original forum...
