That's from Mr.Gold/Alex in Miami. Apparently he sold off his huge collection of vintage gear. He basically collected everything like Fairchilds, blue stripes etc etc. He also replaced the faceplates with custom gold plates and he apparently misplaced a few of the original faceplates now gone forever. So tacky, distasteful and basically rape of the herritage of vintage gear.

The $500. shipping fee puts it out of my budget.

Is someone really going to drop nearly $300,000 on ANYTHING, and then trust safe delivery to a FedEx delivery person?? For that price, someone should be personally delivering, or at least an incredible shipping insurance policy.

That was the Garth Brooks screamer headset. If I had a screamer who wants a headset I still might use it. It is also really popular with K Pop guys live because it’s so big you can’t see how bad the talents lip sync is but can still bring up a fader for banter. I hope this guy isn’t a professional seller / flipper because on the IPhone that wireless looks old enough that you can’t legally sell it other than a personal sale.

In a similar, but different, "What the hell are they thinking?" vein, this is one of the most hilariously badly written gear reviews I have ever read in my life: Staggering disinformation, strange obsessions with "metal," strange verbiage ("tubular amps") etc, bizarre opinions and so on. All the good stuff! beginnerguitarhq.com/roland-jc-120/

My favourite bit is "The essential feature of the Roland JC 120 is its custom-made speakers. They create a three-dimensional sound that pulses forward and within the amp at the same time."

Ok this is HILARIOUS. Or infuriating if you’re the chump on the receiving end. There’s no clip that holds one of these except the original shock mount; look at that shit and tell me you’re taking it to the moon, where it might work. Maybe. http://instagram.com/p/CejMQm4u8lT

But— they are so noisy... that seems like such a dumb trade off in a clean solid state amp. Also, worst distortion ever. Maybe so bad it's now good?

The band I'm in has two of them, the violin and the lead guitarist both have one. I'm the drummer. I just spent 8-ish hours repairing the violinist's Jazz Chorus and kind of fell in love with the thing. Was damaged from sloppy transit, fell smash on its own face, destroying all pots and dislodging the reverb tank. But it's fine now, I fixed it. I'm verging more in the "jazz" direction of guitar tone/playing. So this is perfect for me. There's a little bit of hum/hiss in this one but it's not that bad. And funny enough, the distortion works for me as a mild overdrive. I currently use a bunch of modern Boss Katana amps, but of course, I'm "dreaming" of someday having a Jazz Chorus 1975 monster amp in my camp.

Not only are prices insane, but sellers including dealers who won’t answer basic questions, like what freq. band is a particular wireless receiver reply “ it’s ftrq agile so any freq”, um no it is sold for specific band, see page from manual! Oh by the way I ccd the manufacturer, because your dealer! Ask about a shipping quote. Silence. Sorry but if I’m paying these prices I want to at least know what I’m getting.

True, as well as Andy Summers, Jonny Greenwood, and the godfather of popular metal James Hetrfield. But I also must have you know, when people "dislike" something, that's exactly what I hone in on. I don't know if I'm trolling, weird, disruptive or what but I love that stuff.
