I am sorta interested in the R500 Adat but then I’ll end up going down the 500 series rabbit hole along with all the other rabbit holes. The Audioscape 3a in 500 series may tip me over the edge if the Cranborne looks like it ticks the conversion and summing boxes. OK.... I tried. I really did. I even endured the "why do you need another "******" from my wife for days before caving. After hearing it in a couple of situations, I couldn't NOT buy it. The way I figure it, I already made money on it. Well....I guess that's only if I sell her which I never will, so.... The current white knuckler is the Audient ASP880 that can be had mint for under a grand. It’s always something I suppose. Another fail. I did hold out for almost a month though. I ***guess*** that’s progress? Adding to the fail is that I bought new instead of used. |

A pair of decently priced BAE 1084 modules are on the local craigslist right now and I'm desperately trying to convince myself not to go that route. I think the only thing holding me back is the lack of a corresponding decently priced 8-slot rack/frame (like we talked about in this thread last month). |

Strymon Flint and/or Supro Tremolo Got the Supro and sold it. Nice but too noisy for me. Nothing beats a Supa Trem for regular tremolo. Still looking for the perfect harmonic tremolo. I have an analog-only policy too  |

An Advanced Audio CM49 on Reverb. Telling myself that Vincent made it sound great, that it would be a way for me to see if a 49-ish mic would be a good vocal fit, and that I could sell it/upgrade after "testing" with minimal loss.
