Got the ebay notification that it was ending in 15 minutes, got distracted, missed the auction. Def don't need another compressor though. Worked out. |

Did the demo weeks ago, did try to tell myself I don't need it, but used it over and over again, because it sounds fantastic.... I had to buy it at 20% off... kazrog.com/products/kclip-3Next purchase will be hardware again. |

There is this pair of Quested HQ210’s on eBay, the pics show the Volt mid that the seller says distort at high SPL, , but they are Trianon boxes and he ran all the drivers full range.
Anybody want to buy my 302’s 🤔

I've been holding pretty strong on not buying any more mics..... However :
The AEA or RCA 44 is calling my name, and (!!!)
A Upton 251.
Oh yeah, and trying hard not to buy more instrument libraries or guitars.
Sigh, it takes a lot of stuff to make music SOUND great....

Long gone are the days of buying "an" SDC; now it's everything in pairs. The pres are covered, but another stereo LDC would be great. I wish someone made a stereo SDC in the same configuration as the stereo LDC (caps stacked vertically). I know you can mic up things in stereo with pairs of SDC and I do (AKG 460, Shure SM141, et. al.), but dang, a great stereo SDC would be super cool. I know Neumann used to make the SM2, but those are out of the question for me (pricey and beyond my threshold for gear maintenance). Odd that no one makes something like an SM2. Unless someone does and I'm in the dark. Anyone? I'm going a bit OT here; maybe I'll start a separate thread. My apologies to the OP. -09 |
