you ROCK man! AND, it'll ship out Monday. Thank you bro! You're going to love it ;-) I had a look..... As I am in Australia.... I noticed something about euro voltages requiring notice. So how would that work? Also shipping to Australia? Costs? cheers Wiz Hey Wiz! No worries bud! As for EURO voltages, all of our products *(sans the V-COMP, at least for now)* are EU voltage ready and we pre-wire them internally before shipping the unit out. Usually you'll find a post-it note on top of the unit stating this when you get it. That message is there just in case folks want to e-mail us and ensure they get the voltage they need/desire. We consult a sort of "chart" we have showing which country uses which voltage so depending upon where a unit is being shipped will dictate the voltage your unit is wired for! ;-) Easy-Peasy! FREE SHIPPING to anywhere in the USA (this adds up QUICKLY..... LOL ) FLAT-RATE of $75 (per unit) to anywhere else in the World! (with the exception of Canada, which is a flat-rate of $45 per unit) TBH, 9 out of 10 times we're losing money on shipping but hey, gotta stay competitive! Thanks wiz - Any more questions, feel free!

WOO-HOO! Great minds really DO think alike!! Hahaha...
To those who order EQP's in PAIRS, we will match then if both are being shipped to the same address, but it's still a good idea to shoot us an e-mail letting us know that you'd specifically like them matched. Some customers are simply buying two for mono sources and may not mind, but many of course are planning on using them on stereo busses or 2BUSS!
Thanks so much, everyone!! You ROCK!
....and so starts the "AUDIOSCAPE ADDICTION" for others.... mwhahaha. Seriously, thanks y'all. Amazing times, indeed! New products are coming along quite nicely....

Haha! Sorry / happy to hear that BD. I mean, I bet its a lot of fun. I always enjoyed mixing in 5.1, and really geared up for it in my previous room. Then, when I left my film clients in Hollywood - that was pretty much the end of mixing in surround. The audio / music industry never embraced surround off any sort. So when I designed my new room, I only set it up for stereo. Haven't been called to mix 5.1 in a long time. Much less atmos. Enjoy it. Even if I was 100% digital, I'd still have a blast with that....

Oh yeah definitely. Music in Atmos or 3D is just...awesome. haha No complaints there. Plus it's pretty cool to see Atmos getting integrated into a lot of consumer devices. Maybe it'll be better than 5.1 did for consumers. Lots of good potential. Currently working to get our studio certified...ooof. But should be great when done. Right now I record everything in 9.1 Auro3D but its just not winning the battle for end user support. Which is a shame because the speaker layout of the 5.1.4 is much better for music I think than Atmos. The encoding is a bit, odd though. So Atmos it is likely. Just wish it would support higher resolutions.

I've got 4 modded Serpent SA3a's which are awesome, and two of the JLM 500-A1s which are cool, but not as cool as the serpents. There is always room for more good 3a's! Drbill, what mods did you do to your Serpent 3a's? I've had questions about mods, but there's no literature and almost zero indepth discussion of the serpent sa-3a units from a technical standpoint.

It's more than the "standardized mod" that comes standard on the SerpentSA3a's. It's a loading mod on the output to better match modern gear impedances. Contact Dan Deurloo on this board for more details. He built mine. Ultimately, it just adds a bit of shine / gloss to the overall sonics. I usually leave it "engaged". I have another pair that I bought from Sal Oliveri that doesn't have the mod, and I like both, but I like the mod that Dan did more.

I’d guess that loading mod would be something like strapping a 1k2 resistor across the output transformer secondary. Maybe an RC series. It would be easy to experiment with, you could even do it on the cable if you wanted to test easily without opening the unit.

Interesting. Will have to check it out. I've sent Dan a PM, hopefully he and some other knowledgeable fellows will chime in on some of these mods.
