I sometimes wish I didn't feel this way, but tend to think like Kcat on the 500 series, and like Vinnie will be waiting to see how the 670 unfolds knowing Chris will do a great job, but I'm most curious about some of the other things coming down the pipeline he said were more developed but yet to be revealed. Don't keep us in suspense too long Chris!

Promise we won't make you wait too long to tease other stuff... Again, follow us on IG / FB (@audioscapeaudio) for potential teasers and extremely vague, blurry shots of PCB's, frontpanels, etc... mwhahahaha !! Meanwhile, we'll have a new small batch or two of various products coming in the next few days!

Again, follow us on IG / FB (@audioscapeaudio) for potential teasers and extremely vague, blurry shots of PCB's, frontpanels, etc... mwhahahaha !!! I know you keep pushing that angle Chris, but there are a TON of us that just won't be going there to find out the details, teasers, release dates, availability, etc.. A BUNCH of us. I figured that would come up as soon as I typed that in, hahaha and we are aware of this Which is why new product announcements / release dates will ALWAYS be posted to our website as (mainpage) and typically we will send an e-mail blast out at the same time as we know a subset of our potential and current customers perhaps are not on any social media outlets, which is totally fine (obviously, lol) ;-) but ARE signed up to our e-mail list..! This is also where forums such as RGO are a GREAT resource and even more proof-in-the-pudding, you seeing a post we made and sharing it with others. We LOVE teamwork like this and feels much less..... "cheesy", hahaha. Hope that makes sense! The primary use of our social accounts (Instagram and Facebook) has organically morphed into posting "INVENTORY UPDATES" throughout the week, letting folks know what units will be available on any given night, however, we have also adopted a "policy", for those who do not use socials or don't want to check, and that is - every new small batch goes up at 8PM EST, on any given day. So one could always simply visit the site at 8PM EST to see what's available on any given day of the week. We're still figuring out ways to let more people know when things are in stock (the release date of 8PM EST is also contained within a big black "INFO BAR" on our website at the very top, outlining many of the same things I'm going over here) without flooding or spamming forums, etc. etc. That could get very old, very fast. But, as it is, we're selling every new small batch of products listed up on the site within minutes so it seems word gets around one way or another! The fine-tuning and hard work never ends, as it should be, in every facet one could imagine. Whether it's the assembly and building of our products or the knowledge of their availability! But, at least we're trying, right? Hahahaha....as I know you're aware, we are in uncharted waters here with not doing pre-orders, deposits or taking a PENNY of anyone's money without having the unit(s) you want in stock and ready to ship to your door (amidst a myriad of other ethos and standards of quality we strive to achieve!) This in-itself presents a whole new set of challenges that requires a mass amount of "outside-the-box" thinking and creativity.. Thanks for your input drBill! It will NEVER fall on deaf ears, and those goes for everyone! RE: Wiz - visit our website on any given day at 8PM EST and see what we may have in stock! ;-) The product will either say "SOLD OUT" in the upper right hand corner of the thumbnail or it will sale "ON SALE" which means it's in stock at that very moment! Thanks all. We love the RGO community! <3

An Instagram account is pretty painless. A few builders use IG to do special offers (Stager comes to mind, maybe Weight Tank and you can see the really cool sh!t Coil has been doing.) Since AS has no problem selling out units, there's not going to be a lot of motivation to expand their social media footprint to include updating the various boards.
And I'm not sure how many times this guy has to say he doesn't do preorders.
If AS wants to entertain everyone with a request, mine is start your sales at 6pm EST. I'm an extreme lark, part of the 1% of humanity who's biological clocks wake them at 3am. 4am is sleeping in. Unless I've got a gig, I'm zonked by 8pm and if I'm hitting the vape or, this time of year, the wood pile, forget about it.
Anyway, looking forward to finding out what's in the pipe. (No not that pipe, silly. I know what's in that pipe.) Hope you got a 176 lurking in there! I want a fast Mu!!

Referencing not liking the lottery thing is just a valid perspective. Most people don’t like frustration. The lottery thing means many won’t get gear when the want to and will them wait indefinitely, Not actually knowing when their number may or may not come up ?
I understand it saves all the admin burden of a regular sales approach, but personally I find it frustrating. Like dr Bill , I don’t want my in basket filled up with posts I don’t really need or to need to participate in media accounts, I don’t really want.
I would prefer to just be able to order something normally.

Chris puts whatever is ready to ship up on the storefront at 8pm on whatever day of the week that happens to be. If you check his website at 8pm and something is in stock, put it in your basket and checkout. Be quick about it, though.

Perhaps, I am confusing product launch with regular sales ? Is that it?
I was referring to the clock count down stuff: have I got regular sales all wrong ? Thx!

Perhaps, I am confusing product launch with regular sales ? Is that it? I was referring to the clock count down stuff: have I got regular sales all wrong ? Thx! Haha, all good man! Yes, I believe you have NEW product “OFFICIAL RELEASES” confused with regular sales. The clock count downs we do ONLY for the first OFFICIAL BATCH of a new product ;-). And even then, I don’t think we did a “countdown” for the EQP-A. That’s simply a fun way to keep people involved and keep the product and release date fresh in their minds ;-) Otherwise, our sales method for regular stock is the same as most others, no pre-orders, but if it’s on the site and ready to ship, that means it is In-Stock and ready to ship! On the website it will sale “ON SALE” which is the same as “IN STOCK”. No worries man! At first I was wondering where all the dislike for how we sell products was coming from but NOW I get it. Simple mistake and absolutely no worries my man! The above posters are also correct in their info 😉 Cheers to all!! Let’s keep discussing NEW stuff and even current products if anyone has ANY questions! <3 to all!

I'm gonna help you out here Chris....
You say :
"On the website it will sale “ON SALE” which is the same as “IN STOCK”.
I know what you mean, MOST probably know what you mean, but there there will be some who may be mislead. At present, there is at least one manufacturer - probably a lot more - that continually say "in stock" which takes months if not years to actually deliver. That is coloring the conversation of "how to buy gear on the internet" for everyone. Even if they don't buy from that manufacturer (s). Hell, even Amazon lists stuff as "in stock" sometimes that isn't. So....you will no doubt get some confusion. Just sayin'. It's just the way things are in 2019. Now people have to say "in stock? -- Does that mean that it's built and ready to ship?" Whereas before that was never an issue.
For all :
When A-S says "in stock" it actually IS in stock. My experience is that things have shipped out in a day or maybe two max when I've ordered. I've even ordered at 8:00 EST, and had a shipping notification later that same evening. Don't lump A-S in with the other knuckleheads who can't figure out what "in stock" means!!!!

Thank you man; we always err on the side of being "as diplomatic as possible" . I'm sure this will be helpful for many, many people!! Our business model is "old-school" and very SIMPLE. We MEAN what we say and SAY what we mean. No smokescreen. No B.S. Much love!!!

Our business model is "old-school" and very SIMPLE. We MEAN what we say and SAY what we mean. No smokescreen. No B.S. I will 100% stand behind this statement. I have dealt with Chris Yetter since 2017 when I first purchased his La2a (optocomp) clone, and he helped me through a lot of questions. He shipped fast. The unit came in perfect shape, as expected for a fresh build. And then, the conversations between vendor/customer began. It wasn't just a "transaction" for him. (Sell the gear, move on.) It was a guy who loves what he does for his "new friends" that discovered him and his products via his website. Since a few months ago... I've had nothing but fantastic conversations with Charlie. A LOT of time has been poured into me by him answering questions. Charlie is the "emoji"-driver of AS communications. ;-) Anyway, strong company. Strong business ethics. They're here to serve.

^ CHAD! You're too kind man! Thank you SO MUCH for the amazing support and enthusiasm. We try our best to put in the required and necessary time (however long that takes) with each and every customer, should they need ANY help in choosing which product best suits them and their sonic preferences, styles, etc. Always. Very important to us. As you mentioned, AudioScape is not a "GIVE US YOUR MONEY AND HAVE A GOOD DAY" type of operation. Quite the opposite... but by now, most people probably already know this ;-)
Since we're here to serve, I wanted to let everyone know we just listed a BATCH of products up on the site at 8PM EST! IN STOCK, READY TO SHIP right now! WOOHOO! <3
