Looks like the first one will be shipping next Wednesday! We made it in December after all Stam, So did this happen? ADG shipped in Dec? This statement is confirming that a deadline will be met in the future at the time of posting which is now the past, so was this deadline met?

I don’t believe anything at this point until the product is in my rack. Not that I don’t appreciate everyone here sharing the news, I do and thank you fellow RGO’ers. But if I were to play the odds... well...

Speaking of actors, reading online how to drop lbs, a common method before shooting the “shirtless” scene (thats what they call it) they will cut all food and water 3 days before the shoot. Already cut up and super lean, Hugh Jackman said he would drop 10 lbs or so of water weight.

The curve you can get on an SSL EQ while boosting the top and cutting it back with the low pass filter is pretty awesome. Huge mistake to not offer that as part of the eq IMO Classic bass trick, heavy 8k boost while LPing 10k. Instant bass attack.

Tape over logo’s on guitars and amps in commercials, movies, TV shows? The wired mics without a cable but somehow still funcfion? Guitars & keyboards with no inst. cables? The feedback when anyone approaches a mic? I imagine people with other interests see the same type of flaws that everyone else are unaware of. Im sure the medical field is not even close to accurate on the big screen.

I just wired one with a 4 way, I dig it. Its beefy, almost like a neck humbucker? I used Fralin’s wiring instead of Fender’s that came with the Fender switch.

People here are probably turned off by the quick met deadline, excellent communication, also respect and appreciation of customers. Lol, looking forward to it.

I see A/B tests in our future. Overloud / Slate is emulating the emulator. The gui of the ala toaster is adorable.

So what poopmann is saying is no blame to Avid for selling snake oil BS to dumb people, and means no offense to Avid in that statement.

I think PT was justified / ruled / made sense around the PT 5.5-6.5 days.. a mix plus back then made sense. Then it... well...

Is the Dr. using vanilla or HD? The fact that the “whats new” at NAMM was very little to nothing except “even HD guys can pay us to increase track counts” is mind blowing to me. It really will become something we all laugh about someday (PT). “Remember when PT was the standard and the shanangins they would get away with?”

Im a quitter. The hardware insert plugin for Studio One 4 pings, sets the delay, allows you to ad or subtract any amount you want (not sure why?) input / output trim, you can send and return from any channels you want, you can insert a pic of the hardware and has a notes section. Do I need all these badass features that always work? No, but I couldnt get PT to consistently work, I would have mutes for no reason, it was a mess. But all the additional features in S1 are nice. Also, much more CPU efficient than PT, and cheaper to use. I didnt answer your question did I? Maybe someone can help you.

If I had daw stock eq for surgical stuff (although I use Fab v3 for this) I would pick a SSL 4k. Currently UAD & BX 4k E, I grabbed the new waves CLA thing, interesting workflow with that one, sorta.. I did notice it will bring your CPU to its knees pretty quick. I havent had a chance to try it yet I read its a cpu hog so I loaded up some channels and turned all the processing on 96k session and it crushed my computer. It better sound REALLY good. Also with its type of bucket workflow track freeze wouldnt be an option.

I opened S1 4 “update available” I read the nfo file, number 2 on the list is “fix the hidden sends tab on tracks when collapsed” (paraphrasing but thats it). Downloaded, updated, fixed. Im unable to hide the sends tab on all files now by resizing or shrinking the mixer.. Im on a Commodore 64. Lol, OSX.
