Ok.... MOTU support to the rescue. Great support BTW. We had to factory reset the hardware, something must have gone cocoa puffs with a firmware update, all sorted. I was starting to think I’ve learned nothing over the years. For once not user error. Thanks everyone!

Ive always bounced all virtual inst to audio. In fact, I keep tracking / producing / composing sessions seperate from mixing. Export stems all import into a new session with MIX added to the title. Then, you have a fresh(er) mix perspective and your CPU will thank you. I couldnt imagine having all that virtual stuff still live at the mix phase. But hey, thats just me... always remember “6 different ways to drive to the beach”

I seem to remember using Chrome browser and logging in (typing a IP address) when I originally set this up? Does anyone know the address? I might have a note somewhere...

I will try again today. It appeared the app wasnt retaining my changes. It would sometimes crash / loose connection. But even if it didnt if I closed the app and re opened it would revert back to the old settings. Do you need to save settings everytime?

Is it? Why wouldn’t building in like an 8-12 inch absorber across the whole back wall, 2 corner bass traps at front and mid band absorbers at first reflection points be better? Why not do both? That's what I do. You find it much better?

So Im considering setting my “mixroom” up at an angle... it’s your typical spare bedrooom, 11x12? It’s a bottom end nightmare. Anyone taken a room such as this and gained better results positioning at an angle? I here its the best thing to do in my situation. I have some traps, etc. which I assume I would slightly adjust. Thoughts anyone?

I know every song / mix is different, which rev (ADG) would you say works best most often for tracking and mixing bass? D. Hands down. D vs F for Bass duties?

I used the logitech red ball wired thumball for yrs then they came out with the wireless one... the blue ball, now using those. The best part is people who dont use them despise so most people wont touch your machine. This alone its worth using.

Probably. I respect everyone’s comparison testings and methods. From 175 tracks tweaked differently to the clapper. After my Homer moment not having the power cofigured correctly I found the ADG to sound GREAT. It far succeeded my testing. Kudos to Stam!!
