 Directly from Klaus's collection. February 1961 All original components (And I mean EVERY component) Super low noise floor And look how clean the original K47 is!   I have been waiting for nearly 20 years to own a U47, and two years on Klaus's waiting list! She's paid for and arrives next week. |

Congrats, Dan! Will the FLEA be heading out the door? I already sold the Flea to my buddy here in town last year in order to help finance this. Maybe we can do a proper shootout. I’m always skeptical with U47 shootouts because you never know how original they are. Especially the ones from the big box stores. Of course, they’re trying to sell you a brand new mic. |

I’m jelly The on the shootout, please do! I’d love to hear. I need to borrow Jeff’s original 251 again and do a proper shootout now that I feel like the Upton I have is pretty awesome. From what I remember from doing it before, the original just has this creaminess you just can’t replicate. |
