I used to spin the tp roll like I was on the wheel of fortune, now I treat it like I’m cracking a safe.😂

I’m now using the ‘Can you spare a square?’ Seinfeld approach.

Present. I'm not sure this is what Wiz meant when he titled this thread "roll call". Apropos, however.

All good in Central Oregon. We’ve been holed up with no outside contact for about a month now. WFH is the way we all roll in our family so not a bunch has changed except not being able to go out to lunch / dinner with friends. I’m hoping for wide-scale rapid testing to be everywhere and we might be able to ease up a bit.

I remember when the best T.P., meant Teddy Pendergrass. Chris I remember when we would waste it by covering people’s houses and trees with it!

All good here in Carolina. Still working everyday since Interstate construction is considered essential. Not much has changed for me but my wife teaches online now which is way different. I'm wondering if this hiatus is going to change things even after we reopen. I have colleagues in my company who were at risk with previous medical conditions etc who are working from home successfully. We as musicians have been working from home regularly for years. I'm not sure things will ever go back to how they were completely. I'm a project manager so I have to be on the jobsite to check progress and for field meeting occasionally, but even I can work from home without issues. Most of my work is done on a computer anyway. Strange times we are living in. God bless everyone here. Health and happiness to you all.

Teaching from home. Between that, meetings and social gatherings, I'm spending WAY too much time on Zoom.

Right smack in the middle of it here in Brooklyn. Couple of sick neighbors, a close friend out of the hospital after 10 days, a former state Assemblyman I knew dead at 73, friends that work in health care taxed beyond the limit. Sirens at all times. Very low hovering helicopters late at night. The cashiers at the local, Palestinian-owned grocery are gloved, masked, face-shielded, and behind a low plexi sheet, they’re the greatest. Everyone is mostly on the same page, staying positive and helping each other. We’re roosted up here and doing fine. Don’t let anyone tell you this is some hoax. Stay on it, stay safe, folks!

Well they probably will just make us all walk around with one of those thermometer tape things like you use on a fish tank, attached to our foreheads. Other wise it will just be like it always has been. Unless you cough, I made the mistake of taking the freight elevator that was full of drywall dust down to go to CVS. I had to explain what had just happened as everyone looked like they were going to call 911!

Ok locked down here in SW Florida. I work from home as an insurance adjuster (essential services) so no real change there. People seem to be mostly following the rules. We've got a few elderly folks in our neighborhood that my wife has been keeping in touch with and picking up things from the store if needed. Authorities brought in a portable field hospital last week to set up if cases spike. Hopefully that won't be needed.

tbh...my day gig has been inexpressively stressful and at times, overwhelming lately. I make most of my living working for a mobile X-ray company. ie; I'm in Nursing / Rehab facilities etc most days. I also go to the ME for studies on deceased covid patients. Which actually make me less nervous to be honest. I've otherwise had contact with roughly 6 + covid patients in the last 10 days.
Been home this past week following some respiratory symptoms that put me in the "had to be tested camp" before returning to work but, I honestly think it's precautionary at this moment as my symptoms are not as severe re; fever etc. Still as we all know, that doesn't mean I couldn't be a carrier. I should get results back in a few days.
I won't BS, I'm nervous about going back despite wearing all proper PPE etc. As well, the concern you might miss a precaution somewhere along the line and bring it home with you.
Still, the same could also be said of the stress an average supermarket employee is living with now. It's palpable. Not to mention they're not paid for, nor signed up for that degree of risk. Or for that matter, the under paid nursing aids!
Anyway, the sanctuary of the lab & music work is although even more important in its value & trying to get shit done, also troubling for us all that have high regard for collaboration. But heck, not to be too heavy ...thinking George Harrison and what he said about things passing...

We're okay here in Germany. Staying at home most of the time. Thank God we moved from the big city to the country with a garden, fresh air and the chance to go out. Must be hell staying at a city apartment now. My wife's uncle died from the virus, but the rest of the family is fine... so far. Stay healthy, guys, this is not just your average flu.

I hope things don't go back to the way they were, I hope they get better. Yeah, I hope at least some people change their outlook on life, our so-called social system and our economy. This is Planet Earth's way of telling us that we must change. Get rid of money and power greed. Treat all souls, human, animals and plants, fair. An economy that is built on greed, war, slavery and opression is not sustainable.

If we only gain new found respect for the workers who kept it all going while many of us stay as sheltered as we can it will be a good thing. Truck drivers, nurses, cashiers, first responders, delivery guys, grocery store workers, bus and train drivers, doctors, firemen and women, police officers, sanitation workers, doormen, and so may others who have been true heroes.
