Bought the pro 7H. I really love the way the spaces are defined without the clutter of other verbs. It really is a step up.

Ps I dropped Illusion into my current mix in my lead guitar part, it definitely has its own magic fairy verb dust happening, and the tweak ability is intuitive, great gui thoughtfully designed.
Recommend you demo while BF sale prices are still available, paid roughly $50 for a regulars $200 plug, thx Matt!

I'm on the fence. I can get Illusion at a discounted price, but is it really needed? How is the CPU hit? Does it really offer something more than SH and LP? Tell me its really not very good so I can save some money.

I wanted to like Illusion and Lustrous Plates, but didn't feel I needed them. I'm well served with Abbey Road Plates and Little Plate (and the 7H Plates as well!). So depending on your reverb use and the amount of reverb plugins that you own, I don't think they are essential.

Has anyone done any tests with a reverb plugin running at 88/96 or 192 against the hardware? Just curious how that would turn out. The Pro version sounds different from the regular, it's not just presets. The regular is still awesome though. The other LS verbs were good, but I didn't see them as essential last time I tried them. I've actually been using the Tsar and SHP more now so I can decide if I really need Capitol Chambers or not. So far, I'm getting better results without CC. I've gotten very close to it in rock and metal stuff with either SHP or R4. Tsar is really useful. I'm noticing less variation in the verbs since I switched out the 737, Helios, or Century Tube for LSR TubeEnhance with 3% drive and shape over my pre-master aux and took out the ATR-102 running a nonlinear preset for Softube Tape with minimal settings on the master fader. The switch to TubeEnhance and Softube Tape keeps the verb more blended with the mix. With the UAD stuff in there, CC came across bigger than the rest. I really just try to heavily scrutinize plugin purchases because it's so tempting to just pull the trigger on everything. That and I have all this stuff that I haven't touched in months or years that deserves another look. If prices were lower, I'd pull the trigger on a lot of stuff. But $75 here, $120 there, $400 for a custom bundle, that adds up bigtime. Plus we don't know what new releases or sales might pop up. No one foresaw the Cranesong $150 sale at Sweetwater two years ago. But I can definitely say that if you don't own one of the SH plugins, you can safely pull the trigger.

I’ve also gotten R4 Chamber to sound really close to CC at times but I bought it anyway for use as monitor reverb with my Apollo, and now I ended up using it a lot for vocals because it had a certain beautiful vintage tone. Sure I could live without it, and use R4 instead, but it is extremely good, that’s for sure. Good times for ITB reverb-lovers!

Peeps should certainly buy their preference, just be aware that LS plugs are still like 60% off list and, as I mentioned above, you can stack your coupon discounts.
