It looks as though the last Stam SA-67 thread was closed ? i have ordered one but I'm not sure what the latest capsule situation is? or when it will become available. Anyone else enjoying their SA-67 ?

Still waiting. Pre-ordered the first week he posted here, back in the last days of ‘17. Some recent email contact with Camila recently, but no details or invoice. Sigh.

I would try to be patient, Stam will want to be sure the new version is just right before producing lots of SA67’s.

Well to end the suspense it's me that will be making the new capsule. I'm manufacturing everything myself right here in little, old Denmark.

It will be indeed Tim Campbell providing us with the K67 capsules for the SA-67 and SA-87 line and perhaps something more as well down the line, we had been speaking about it for a long time and we finally had the opportunity to work together.
We are pretty excited about this

I don't want to give dates yet on the 67MK2 and 87 MK2 but it won't be too long I hope I can have a date within a month for shipments
Having on of the best (if not the best) capsule maker in the world step in to make a K67 replica is indeed a blessing and we all now get to benefit from it

I've always heard that there was a multiple month wait to get your TC12 caps. Is that not the case?

How about we let them publish an actual production schedule before we start querying it ?

No. That's no longer the case, sometimes, if you catch me right it can be a matter of days or a few weeks at most. I should also add that CK12's are very labor intensive, K67 and K47's require much less time. The first capsules I built were k67's more than 20 years ago.

Hey timcampbell, not to take the thread away from Stam, but will you be making your K67 readily available for the DIYers?

Great news, now we’re talkin’ baby! I have great confidence that between Tim and Joshua something exceptional will follow. Patience certainly has its rewards sometimes 😉

Yes, we would be happy to make a proper 251 replica
But we have to focus on the 87-67 family first since we have a lot, and I mean a big lot of units reserved
Once we get them out of the way other mics will come out
We are also working on other microphones, some originals and some that have yet to be replicated
