I also would bet that Stam is going to be churning out more Neve flavors such as a 1081, 1066 ;-)

How about we let them publish an actual production schedule before we start querying it ? Given past issues with predicted timelines, I think it's a fair question.

I don't want to give dates yet on the 67MK2 and 87 MK2 but it won't be too long I hope I can have a date within a month for shipments Having on of the best (if not the best) capsule maker in the world step in to make a K67 replica is indeed a blessing and we all now get to benefit from it This is really great news, Josh!

Given past issues with predicted timelines, I think it's a fair question. Personally, thought it a little snotty, given they haven’t even released an actual production date. I’d favour giving this new partnership a chance My question was related to the original Campbell related capsules, not the new ones. And for that matter, I think it's a fair question. There are many people waiting on mics and the builder switched capsules mid run. I think there are a lot of people wondering.

Ya, I understand that but no one can change the past, just try to improve in the future.
The newsletter with new production was supposed to have been published over the last 2 weeks.
I just hope they state more realistic production release dates so that a lot of the noise disappears and we can mostly talk about the actual gear.

jcoutu1 I don't mind anyone asking about my lead times on capsules. I think the perception of long wait times comes from years ago when I was the only builder of CK12 capsules that you could buy as as stand alone product on the market. I also always give VERY realistic delivery estimates, often finishing capsules earlier than stated. I don't believe I've ever been late with deliveries and my failure rate up until now has been less than 10 capsules in the last 15 years.

A Stam 251 with one of Tim’s capsules would be an instant buy for me.
After having more time with the SA67 it truly is an incredible sounding mic. Absolutely excellent silky smooth mojo - and it sounds extremely natural off axis.

Yes, we would be happy to make a proper 251 replica But we have to focus on the 87-67 family first since we have a lot, and I mean a big lot of units reserved Once we get them out of the way other mics will come out We are also working on other microphones, some originals and some that have yet to be replicated Josh When you say "big lot of units reserved", how many are you talking about? You and I have talked before about my interest in picking up a 67. I was waiting to hear who the new capsule maker would be first but, after hearing that it will be Tim Campbell, my interest is renewed. Should I go ahead and reserve a 67 now on the Stam website? What is your recommendation on that?

Also i noticed that the power supply for the sa67 had two power options, 115 Volt and 230 Volt, in the USA don't we use 120 Volts ?

Wow this looks great :-) Thank you very much. I wonder if the sa67’s guts would fit into a Neumann u67 body tube and head basket ?

Because we all want our 67 clone to look like a real U67.

Because we all want our 67 clone to look like a real U67. Granted, but if you already had a U67, from which you could potentially steal the body and headbasket, why would you need or want a clone in the first place? It's not like there are a bunch of (or really ANY) spare U67 bodies or headbaskets just floating around out there for sale.
