That's OK, I always thought Miktek was "Mick", not "Mic". You guys all know that the Sta Level is the "stay level" right?

Got the V-Comp in the rack ready to play with some friends. Wow, just setting it up as an insert in pro tools and running some things through it, I am in love.

I bet that chain sounds RIDICULOUS! ;-) V-COMP is looking right at home, beautiful as always. Haha. MAN, I am so glad y'all are digging the V so far! It is quite the compressor, even WE admit that. Thanks so much for the kind words, as always. Every unit we build is a true labor of love for us; and it's great to see others getting to benefit from that... And Ward, we got you man! KEEP the pics coming and the conversation and everyone's thoughts as they grow with the V-COM....

audioscape Chris - The V-Comp has been glued to the bass tracks here since getting it last week. Every time I bring up a bass track with it on, I just have to smile, and giggle a little bit. Freaking awesome. No wonder johnkenn has bought so many of these.....

A bunch if I recall. I want to try it on something else, but I can't seem to pull it off bass.....that seems to be a match made in heaven.

It seemed like without even making louder I could feel the thump in my chest. I actually started laughing it sounded so good.

Jesus. You need help. Well, over 10-12 years. He’s always got my avatar pic for the memories if he wants to get all misty eyed. It’s JK’s not mine. I’ve never had a Sta. I thought it would be mildly humorous to grab the screen shot he posted (JK was that your first one?) but I had no idea he would burn through so many of the damn things! Or maybe he should change it to the V comp now. Cheers, Geoff

Freaking awesome. No wonder johnkenn has bought so many of these..... BILL! Thank you man... I feel the same way as you do. On Bass, OH MAN! First thing I do when starting a mix is throw the V-Comp on bass, and like you and mike, sit back and just SMILE. Pure tube, mu-y, thick audio syrup...... NOTHING else out there like it for Bass... DIFFERENT perhaps, but not better. It lives on Bass and Vocals over here. kcatthedog essentially NAILED what we were going for with the V-COMP almost to a T: "It seems to me the V comp is nice update to the standard STA sonically and a lot less money: what's not to like ? " ;-) AH! We LOVE this feedback! To all who are waiting; Another batch of V-COMP's is coming SOOOON! We have a couple surprises in store (top secret new products) that should definitely pique some interest. ;-) HOWEVER, our current focus as far as "Official Release" of New Products is the venerable EQP-A... OH YES! Getting the final required components ordered, final sonic decision making (as it pertains to said components), etc.... should be GLORIOUS! Thanks all... visiting RGO always puts a big ole' smile on my face. Glad to be in a position to share the sonic passion we have over here at AudioScape with you ALL!

YOU KNOW HE WE DO! 3RU Sorry to disappoint on that one. We are using the 6x4 Rectifier Tube just like the original, it'd be a TIGHT fit in a 2U chassis and fitting it horizontal or something would be silly. You'll still love it. I promise! ;-) We love surprises as well. LOOSE LIPS SINK SHIPS!
