I just paid deposit on one, without stepped switches. Joshua wrote that lead time now is 10 weeks, so if that holds it would be sent first week of September. I am very curious to see how this clone of the ultimate magical beast holds up!

Got a StamChild update e-mail this morning, $500 extra for the stepped switches mastering version. 10 to be delivered in June, 50 in July, 75 in August. I'll have one of the standard June editions please. DHL attempted delivery yesterday of what I imagine to be a pair of Stam 1073EQs, #stamsummer2019. How is Stam doing with expected delivery dates these days? Are the accurate?

I can only speak to my own experience, but I received my 1073EQ units this month after paying the final invoice in full in April. It was exactly a year from deposit to final invoice and another two months for actual delivery.

Second production unit was delivered yesterday to a South American Engineer
I can't even comment on how we feel, years of hard work, research, design, test, re-design, more research, more test, third design, another round of tests, parts, custom made switches, matching hundreds of tubes ... so much work went into this.. I realized halfway through why only a handful of companies in the world every attempted this.
I can't be prouder and happy, props to Teo, the project manager of this piece and the ADG, without him this would not have been possible
I can't wait to ship these and start hearing some reviews
Thanks everybody for the patience, I am promise you will be very happy!

Any updates? I saw the thread where you changed the tubes from the original 6386 tubes to the now new option of 6ba6 tubes. Wow what a challenge to match all those.

Anyone actually heard one of finished production models “in the wild” yet?

Anyone actually heard one of finished production models “in the wild” yet? Smoke and mirrors... I was told I was in the August batch. If I don't hear anything before August 31st, I'm cancelling my order and asking for a refund. It's sad because I've waited so long and invested $1500 so far (two $500 deposits, one $500 mastering switches deposit).

Joshua, is the D.C. Threshold omitted in this clone? I can't find anything about it in the manual. Basically it sets the compression ratio on the original I think?

This has been the most challenging project we have undertaken
The amount of hard work, stress and passion behind these units was overwhelming. I grew a few years older for sure
That on top of all the other issues we had to resolve and are still resolving at Stam
I am happy and relieved that we are getting extremely great comments and more reviews will be posted this and next week
The light at the end of the tunnel ...
