Barefoot mm27s here. Bought them blind during a major GAS attack. Love em. They get me home earlier. 6 months in to using them I sold my NS-10s. I'm a one pair of monitors guy now. I have a little tivoli radio that sums to mono on a 3 inch (I think) speaker. I almost never use it. I do lust for some big ATCs though...

Yeah, I'm down to mainly one monitor pair now, but with the occasional switch over to the old Auratones when I can't quite put my finger on something nasal in the midrange. Those truly make mixing the midrange a snap.

Gotta look into a Tivoli for a small mono speaker! Which model do you have?

Big bottom...I swear!

Focal CMS65's for me. I've also got some B-tone C50A's for the poopy little speaker midrange reference thing, they actually work very well at this...

First post on this site! Really digging it so far.
Anyone using Spiral Groove Studio One's? Heard good things about them and have a pair coming in to audition in a few days.

I picked up a used Emotiva XP-200. The Class D amps aren't offered through the Spiral Groove site any longer...I wonder what happened? I've heard great stuff about the Emotiva, and it was a lot less than getting into the Parasound/Bryston league, though I would like to try the Parasound A21 eventually.

No I am talking about Hypex amps. The builds I have used have really beefy PSU section in them with the UCD 400 pcb's. They sound great. I'm gonna be testing an apples to apples build using the hypex PSU units as well. If it turns out to be as good or better that would be a fantastic option for guys.
BTW, not all Class D is created equally. I shockingly found that out in comparisons I was doing.

I'm using HS80M monitors. I wouldn't mind upgrading, but I do not feel these are holding me back at all. Mixes translate very well.
