Looks pretty impressive! I like the fact you can move the mics around VR

Holy mommy donkey balls. I'm buying this shit... Did you demo it? Is it another room you can put yourself into? Does it sound good? The "Heroes" effect [ambience that un-gates with level] doesn't interest me much, but how does the room sound?

You should demo. Surprised it's intro'd at $149

jeez, pretty soon no one will have to hear/know any techniques to achieve anything, just use a plugin to set your image depth by eye, if the verb is of high quality? I predict this will be a uuuuge seller!

Mapping/sampling real sonic spaces could be the next big plug-in thing. As soon as I got UAD's Ocean Way, I thought I'd love some other room options. Though a big part of Ocean Way's strength is the sound of the mics (especially the C12) they use in the space.
Could Avatar/Power Station and other famous recording rooms be far behind? Abby Road? Too bad many of them are already gone.

I've never used a bricasti or the UAD thing so I might sound like the last guy to the party. Maybe you guys won't be impressed but I'm shocked. It's really freaking good.

Never mind, sorted it.
Had to drag the license to the ilok and that activated the demo period

I'm gonna play with it more tonight. I'm working with a really dense pop style track, so I'm kinda forcing a square peg in a round hole with room sounds on the AGs. I'm still running through presets and grasping the differences between using as an insert or bus. For most of them I've just been sending the at to a bus pre fader and mixing in the desired amount. Anybody tried it on a vocal yet?

I got the demo tonight. Very nice sounding but still getting a grasp on the gain staging and parameters. I think it'll be a great sounding room plug.
I also encourage you guys to try the Waves Abbey Rd. Plate. I was doing some A/B with the Tverb tonight and they're both in the same league to my ears. Different but fantastic sounding ITB verbs. Best I've heard yet.
I'll cut a quick acoustic track and do an A/B comparison for everyone later this week....

Too bad many of them are already gone. I remember Altiverb had a lot of these spaces. There was a bunch of IRs from the likes of Cello Studio and other famous rooms. I haven't used it in years, but I remember I liked it a lot.

One thing is sure: There are a bazillion reverbs out there now. I find most rooms pretty good, it is plates and chambers that suffer imo.

OK, I tried this thing and I don't know anything about the interface. I replaced this on the same strip I had OW on a previous session. I started switching out presets and thought meh, then I must have hit the right combination of buttons and there it was. It's a very nice plugin and sounds realer,,,Is that a word?? Than OW. Never thought I'd say it. But right here is a big studio sound.
