ah why no wave guides ? They have the wave guides, they're just black, no passive radiator in the back though. Open rear port.

oh, interesting, did you mod them ?
What is the bass response like, so someone blew the passive radiator out and removed it ?

Be interested to see how the bass speaker performs as it is supposed to be counterbalanced by the PR and the crossover is designed for the PR to also be installed ?

Couple of Way Huge Red Llama pedals, my latest Tripp or Obsession. Klon and Tube Screamer came off the board. Marshall just wants dirt and low end. On the left is my new 25th Anniversary Edition on the right is my DIY version of the original (coveted) circuit with a vintage Motorola IC. I had some major circuit board issues due to a bad layout posted online, but solving them only got me deeper in my involvement. In a way it's good I had to figure out how it works and solve all the various problems. I ended up with a giant killer type of device. My DIY version is "tubier" and much quieter (less hiss) than the Way Huge version... more of a klon replacer. The 25th Ann. has got that sweet tone knob that can give a fat bass bump when you want it. A little more of a Tube Screamer replacer. Love both of them. Probably going to slap a Motorola in the new one since the IC is socketed. That will be a real contest at that point.

I picked up one of those cute and cuddly little Vox AC4TV amps, sight unseen. Although I have never even played through one at a music retailer, from the strength of opinion from many people at varied forums and as well from posted videos, it seems to be a very decent amp. I love the 1 watt output option as it sounds very true to the 4 watt tone at full power. I only wonder how the 1/4 watt option holds up in regard to such little air being pushed by the speaker. Even though I'm not and probably won't be playing out any more, I think I'll keep the AC15C1 I have if for nothing else than for the 12 inch Greenback speaker that resides inside for more the bottom end if I wish it when recording. I picked up the AC4TV for 116 francs...nice!

I've got Fenders for the purpose, but I've played a lot of other makes and models with plenty of character. Big fan of the 6V6 power tube here. Also I agree, keep the big amps around for when you want that sound as well. There's no substitute for hugeness regarding transformers, power sections, and speaker cabinets. It's a thing that is very desirable. Then there's the 20-30 watt head/amp which is this weird middle-ground for me. All of them very useful, in their own ways.

Pair HPM-100 speakers
I also just got a pair of tele v672's for well under $400. I'm going to use these for my passive eq's instead if the V72a's, if anyone out there cares. Lol

Yamaha Q2031A. Monstrously good Graphic EQ. It takes socketed input transformers on the back (features a transformer in/out switch for flavors) and can be upgraded with an output transformer for each channel as well (factory option).
Super quiet and over delivers compared to any plugin EQ I've ever tried.
I run mine into Zulu and it also offers 10db of analog gain if you desire.
SCHWEET.
Thanks -L.

Do you have stock transformers in it? What are they?

See from my FOH and Wedge days the Yamaha Graphics were the worst! They were plentiful because people could finance them with the board! Those things have very little headroom and were noise machines! Give me a pair of Whites with Transformers any day !

The noise floor on these is in the early -90s range and I'm able to peg the shit out this particular model with very little distortion. There's many Yamaha graphic eq for sure but this ain't one of the ones you're mentioning that has those negative attributes. Worth a shot! Thanks -L.
