Stam SA-47, Audioscape Opto, and an Orangewood Juniper. Opto is still sitting at my friend's studio and I haven't had a chance to do much more than test the Stam since I got my wisdom teeth out last week. Gettin' my money's worth!

Picked up a pair of Heil PR40’s at a great price. They’ll probably be my “permanent” mics on the bottom of a Leslie cabinet and the bass amp. I have another one I’ve been liking on bottom snare of all places…its a very “crisp” microphone but not thin.
Also the Relab QuantX Essential which is a really nice drum room/ambience reverb. For $19 if you own any other either other products makes it worth trying for sure.

It might apply to my Essentials 480 Reverb then. Got it free with my UA Volt 1. Thanks! Chris

Copped pink Gotham GAC-2 mic cables to brighten my day. Also a lime green Gotham GAC-3 mic cable. Standardized on Gotham GAC-3 here years ago. RE: 3 conductor cable-- With the drain wire and the third conductor twisted together and connected to ground, the Gotham GAC-3 cable provides the very best rejection of RFI in the world.

Grabbed a TC Electronic Clarity-M meter. Super handy so far and nice to get some screen real estate back, no more tucking various meters in the corners

Just a quick note- We are on page 420. Puff on, and hopefully we got all someone next to us we can lean on and to pass to (even if only metaphorically).

WARNING- TRYPOPHOBIA ALERT. Look Elsewhere should you be afflicted. BTW- I am, so Im'ma gonna avert muh eyes when screwing 'em in. I just picked up 10 of these, wanting to check quality across a representative lot/purchase batch before getting more. I figured 10 was enough to check. It's kinda odd, maybe I'm just looking in the wrong places, but <1U (0.3U, 0.5U) vented spacers that are legit done right, maybe even half-assed right, seems to be vanishingly rare. I was actually hoping to get 1/3U (0.33U) vented spacer/banks of large air flow, flanged for support and good tolerances but they are nowhere to be found. Any source links for this specifically would be GREATLY appreciated. I can't stand the ones that are powder coated somewhere then finished by a seller by that seller drilling holes that leave the shining metal in the donut hole of the drilled space shining through... Even worse if there are burrs on the drilled holes to catch, rend and cut muh' thumb flesh leaving me unable to poorly play the guitar. These are nice. Very happy for the price. These Penn-Elcom spacers are really sweet looking, totally top tits. The specs must be pretty tight as they line up perfectly (to the eye). www.penn-elcom.com/us/0-5u-black-perforated-flanged-rack-panel-r1286-05uvkThey claim 62% air space available across the face. All I know is smooth edges, no post-powder coat drilling, nice tactile surface and only 9 bucks USD. Fearn's offering is > 20 X that ($200 USD): www.sweetwater.com/store/detail/VPFpanel--dw-fearn-vpf-vented-rack-panelInstead, for 9.3 buckaroos each I got these:

Did I pick up some more plugins? Why yes, yes I did. Bx refinement was a freebie. Then I decided to splurge $20 each on the PA Ssl G strip and their mastering plug. I think, I hope that’ll be it for a while.
Cheers, Geoff

The Penn Elcom panels are well made and work great! I have Penn Elcom 1U vent panels between all my gear in all my racks. I use these Penn vents too - the half rack high vent I use a lot between devices that only get reasonably warm, and use the 1RU vents for the super hot tube gear, plus I always prefer my convertors to have ventilation around them. Also my H8000FW you can fry an egg on.

Got a little Korg Monologue…I wanted a simple mono synth with an arpeggiator that didn’t break the bank and one came up locally on the cheap. Will anyone ever use it? Doubt it.

Only ten of these were made for complete pros in our tiny market. It's spectacular. I still have to get my cables and all which will be made by the same guy... Two ins, four outs, very cool volume know, A/B, stereo/mono, pad. Completely matched audio levels. Totally analog will go well with my analog speakers, other pair will be HS8's

If you're in EU, Adam Hall has something similar. www.amazon.se/-/en/gp/aw/c?ref_=navm_hdr_cartThey probably are actually Penn Elcom, almost any dealer who has their own brand of rack essentials is using Penn Elcom. One of the very few things I miss about Houston Galveston is being able to just go to the Penn Elcom warehouse to grab some stuff. Always be careful with 1/3 and 1/2 rack panels the screw holes on most rails really don’t line up well. Always found as much as I hate working this way, putting the rack on its back to line all the wholes & using some larger metal washers was best short of actually drilling & tapping custom rails. The other thing I found was because some panels get bent / some manufacturers just don’t respect panel size standards is to have a belt sander handy to shave a bit off the vent panels. Since we are getting rid of the whirlwind digital snake to run Yamaha AD8HR’s via Cobranet getting ready to deal with 1/3 panels for the front and probably a bunch for the back plus custom I/o panels and rear rail mounts always 🤩

Just pulled the trigger on an Antelope Orion 32+ Gen4 with the MRC controller. It was a lot more than I originally intended to spend, but I'm hoping it will last the next 15 years (like my Apollo 16 has done for me for the past 15...). Sweetwater Gear Exchange has a 10% off (on selected items) Labor Day sale running, and I've been contemplating this purchase for awhile now and it felt like I needed to jump (even though I also feel a bit nervous tearing out the core of my studio....).
