Does my COVID 19 shot count? Only if yours had the 5g implant chip.

I'm reviewing a pair of Iron Age Audioworks LH95 EQs and the Portia Street Stomp this weekend!

Really nice photos!
I just added an SE Reflexion Filter Pro to the vocal corner area, since it was too acoustically weird over there. Early discovery is it's better with a blanket draped over it. Stock it's too weird sounding in the midrange. Does this kind of 400 scoop 1K boost comb filtering thing, not subtle. With a blanket it's more neutral.

When I was using my Space filter, I found it helpful to mount it on a separate mic stand to get more flexibility with placement, and fewer concerns about it tipping over. The midrange coloration is something you just kind of have to live with, but I found it to be fairly subtle compared to other filters (i.e. Aston Halo), and much better than using no filter at all.

Have an Lynx Aurora N on tbolt here, very, very impressed with its sonics, best interface I have had,(Apollos, digi, rme, symphony mkii, b2, 2192, Topping).
Aurora N is detailed, clean, linear, bigger soundstage.

Gyraf G22 - just checking it out today. It is not going back. Beautiful. Plenty of detail and a nice euphonic tone that is not overbearing. Great flexibility in settings. I have not figured out the M/S idea on it yet - that will be my next step. It is expensive, but very versatile. Easy resetting with tiny little steps on the controls. Cool meters. I was expecting it to have more color all the time - and it can have a lot of color - it is just a matter of settings. And quiet too! Ok, enough of a report.

I am biased but Gyraf stuff is really old school in all the best ways that can connote.

Sorta posted in the wrong thread yesterday.....got an Altec 436C compressor that has got to be a hangar queen, looks unused and the original tubes test like new. Wasn’t planning on having one of these but was too crazy to pass, we’ll see if I like it and keep it. Logic says FLIP FLIP FLIP, but......like I need another tube comp.....

Just discovered the Speaker DI mode on my Countryman 85 direct box. Feels like new gear. It's better than the Two Notes Torpedo Captor!!! The Two Notes will be listed later today, something not quite right about that thing.
What I discovered is the load box is a small part of the tone, and the DI part of the chain (for silent recording, direct amp recording) is possibly more important. The Two Notes DI is pretty bad.
For a load, right now I'm using a cheap Bugera PS-1, which is 'fine.'

Ordered a few different pieces from Triad-Orbit - T2/O1-L/ and multiple M2's. Looking forward to being able to quick change multiple mic's out when comparing on a source or song.
And I also found a coupon code for Leapwing's new Al Schmitt plug.
