Been picking up some keys VIs to amuse myself, bought a $7 issue of Beat magazine that included Waves Codex and Traction Retromod LowFreq Wired licenses, then spent a whole $5 at PastToFuture for Lo-Fi Rhodes, MKS-20 Electric Grand and Mellow Tone Pianos for Kontakt. Time to cool it with the extravagant expenditures.

Got some plugins. Klevgrand DAW Cassette free from Focusrite Plugin Collective, and the Youlean Loudness Meter (always free.) Learned about True Peak Levels today, at least a little bit, still not sure how much they matter. For a final master. But it's nice to have a good easy meter I can trust.

Went into the 500 series world and got an RND 10 slot chasis and a starter of 3 x API 512v
I also bought 2 x Stam 312-5+ ...which even though they were in stock have not arrived yet.
Also I got a second BAE 1073 MP Dual.
Building up all real preamps then I will move to an Apollo x16

Just got IK Syntronik Deluxe upgrage for $29. The VSC-3 is spectacular, love this thing. Almost sounds like my real analog synths.
Until March 1 you can buy Total Studio Max 2 from IK for $139 which is an insane deal for what you get.
Then you have the option to upgrade to Amplitube 5, Syntronik Deluxe, etc, for low prices either now or later when sales are on.
I would seriously think about it if you're into guitar sims, synthesizer samples, and so on. Some of the mixing gear is really good too in T Racks.
EDIT: not sure if these are prices that everyone sees or just my MAXGRADE tier prices. Someone else said Total Studio Max was $250 for them.

Also got Klanghelm SDRR2. I think this was the "go to" saturator I have been looking for, or at least one of them.

Got a pair of BAE 1084's and they have completely ruined me. I can't believe how good they make everything sound - big fat deep and wide. I'm gonna have to find a way to get more some day. I first ran some OH mics - KM84s though them. The image of the kit extended in both directions, more low and high end, more clarity and somehow more space for everything. Then I switched to kick in and snare top and of course that was ridiculous too. They are expensive but they make everything so much easier. Someday I will have a rack of 1084 modules and call it a day.

Got the Air Drum Synth 500 for ten bucks. Pretty cool but I can't figure out how to load my own samples. Also designed my own drum machine in Reaktor, neat stuff, that's the first time I've really dug into that program. It's easier than I thought it would be at first.

I've been on a tear (sold some 'duplicates') and went after some tube gear (mostly): Chandler REDD.47 Wes Audio Timbre Locomotive Audio 14B Weight Tank WT-72 AudioScape MEQ-A ProReplicas 1176A (I put a UTC 0-12 and a UA 5002 in myself) And, I have a Coil Audio CA70S on order. I'm also very interested in trying a Celestion Gold that just came in for my '72 Princeton Reverb. Got a Pro Replicas Rev A w/ Ed Andersen TX & Rev H with UREI TX coming in a couple days...
srb, what are you liking your PR Rev A on?

Not speaking for srb, but I still absolutely love my Pro Replica Rev A. I bought an early one and am absolutely amazed at how almost identical it is to the original. You can't tell . . . I doubt CLA could tell the difference.

Traded some stuff for a 8x14 Ludwig Copper Phonic. It’s pretty ridiculous.
Also going to trade a buddy for a Scamp Rack with some modules.
If anyone has S01 Compressor, S04 Equalizer, S23 Panner, S24 ADT, or maybe even a F300 expander/gate I might be interested.

I doubt CLA could tell the difference. It's early yet with the unit, but I like it very much on vocals (which is mainly what I got it for...to use with a 'slower' tube comp). Works well for electric bass. I'm going to try it on electric guitar today, see if that extra little mid push it exhibits is what's needed on a lead section. I'm going to track with it. When I track drums, I almost always use an 1176 on snare going in. I'll get to try the 'A' soon on that. So far, I'm very pleased with the unit. Build quality is good, too. And, it looks splendid in a rack. Robert is also a pleasure to deal with.
