Just bought a Switchcraft 1625.
8x2 TT patchbay module so I can patch my new Pulse 16 into my XLR main rack patchbay.
Cute little thing - beautifully made.

A buddy of mine sold me a pair of Paiste Signature Traditional Medium Light 15" hi-hats. They are pretty rare...I don't think they were a production size for very long but they are a great studio hat so I had to snag them
Also finally getting my Barefoot MM27 amp back from repair, 3 months later.

Played through an Orange at rehearsal this week. Saw an Orange Bax pedal, which I believe has been discontinued, on sale. Should be here next week.

A buddy of mine sold me a pair of Paiste Signature Traditional Medium Light 15" hi-hats. They are pretty rare...I don't think they were a production size for very long but they are a great studio hat so I had to snag them Also finally getting my Barefoot MM27 amp back from repair, 3 months later. This is one of the reasons I love passive’s, BEL 2002 needed a couple of Caps replaced. Not a problem, grabbed 2 Stewart World 2.1’s ( yeah totally overkill power wise) as they came in zero down time. |

Yeah That is absolutely insane, unfortunately it is becoming the norm. Manufacturers, Dealers and distributors should understand that the difference between “ Pro audio” and home audio is someone is actually using these in a commercial environment, that is the customer they want to get to then sell to the home recordist. If I’m waiting 3 months because of a broken switch itt isn’t making me money. The funny thing is yesterday I was trying to convince a manufacturer not to use a tweeter I absolutely love because they are hand made in small batches, that means at times a replacement diaphragm can be a 6 month wait, average of 2 months. Unless they are going to ship a replacement diaphragm with each box in my eyes that isn’t professional service. |

Awful awful old versions of Seetronics TRS connectors. 8 defective out of 20 soldered. Bad batch or pure crap ? Sending back the other 75.
The current version sold by thomann is flawless.
If only I had known I was buying the old version in the other shop...

However, they weren't originally $60. That's like a 75% discount from Warren. but similarly, I never imagine a situation where an Oktava MC012-01 would beat out a vintage Neumann KM84, but that happened recently. I shot the Oktava out against all my SDCs, Neumann AKG and Beyer and it beat them all on a bright Taylor that needed a good trimmin' |
