Lets see hit the local Pawnshop. ROLAND Fantom XA $149! Since I only had $20 I put it on Layaway ! The TAD TL1503s showed up , my understanding I had purchased 2 not 2 pair! Wife is trying to convince me to sell the Fantom and the TADs and have some fun with the extra $2k!

A Compex plug? Wish I hadn't seen that - it may cost me money. Anyone know if it's any good? I'm pondering the Summit eq plug as well. But, haven't made the plunge yet. Cheers, Geoff

I downloaded the demo, but haven't had time to play with it yet. If it's as good as his delay, I'll be very happy. Here's the direct link: www.bozdigitallabs.com/product/10db-demo/FWIW, I didn't want to spend any more money on plugins either, but who knows - might have to take advantage of this sale while it's half off…

I'm definitely grabbing a plug in the IK group buy and most likely the Soundtoys bundle...just too good to pass up. Probably grab something from Softube before their sale ends too, but still got some time. Waves API has been calling my name for the past couple of years too, even though I don't love it. Going to try to fight the urge again. Grabbed the wiz disk too. Y'all should too.

same PCM4222 AD chip, same dual power supply on the dac side, they didn't say what chips they're using on the DA, but they are using 2, i'm not sure the chip config Svarts using on the AD side? The clock in the antelope is probably very good, i don't know a lot about that stuff, i hope C chimes in and tells us what he thinks is going on with the little info they give, you'd think they'd brag up the SN/DR specs on that thing? $2,200!!! It is so cool that C is doing this 8)

I just picked up UAD's Real Room modeler. I shot it out against the OW and how Cowboy was talking about ER. I would say that you can get very close to the OW plug with this one, it just takes some effort in finding good combinations and settings, but it's a very very good room emu. I had a $25 coupon and with their sale I picked it up for $54.

Cheers, Geoff Well, it did cost me money. Never been in the same room as a Compex let alone played with one. But, this thing is cool - based on maybe two minutes of playing with it. Also picked up their freebie (mono compatability plug that I think does some some M/S stuff too?) as well as the Waves and Slate freebies. Still pondering the Softube Summit eq and/or the Tsar verb (might grab the lite version) or possibly the Exponential Phoenix. Cheers, Geoff

Think I'm gonna grab BDL +10b and Imperial Delay. All their plugins are top notch(Sasquatch, Mongoose, Little Foot, Panther, T-Bone)...got'em all in their introductory price. Also Sknote's Channel strip, seems good with plenty options.

Can't wait to try the demo of the +10dB!
