Let's just add deals here as they come across the table, so we can score this holiday season.
I'll start.
Softube is 50% off single plugs and 30% off bundles.
Currently, I have a combo deal in my cart with Trident A Range and CL1B for $177 after using the "group" coupon code (which applies to most things at JRR).
Softube sale goes until Jan 7.
"Exceptions: The only fine print in this deal is that there just might be some new stuff coming out while the sale is active. So any new products we are releasing on any platform during the sale period will not be discounted. We also excluded the very recently released Amp and Bass Amp for the Reason Rack Extensions."
*NOTE* All of these deals have the potential to improve on or closer to Black Friday.
Also, Audiodeluxe.com and jrrshop.com consistently have great prices on plugins. If you want constant temptation, sign up for their newsletters.

Wiz already mentioned it but in case someone missed it, IK T-Racks is having a BOGO group buy. The more people who buy in, the more free plugs you can end up with. www.ikmultimedia.com/mobile/

I use it as my main verb on every mix. I got extremely frustrated trying to install it on my new setup. Had it working perfectly for a year and then couldn't install it after upgrading my computer. Anyway, I started thinking about selling because I don't own a lot of plugs because I've never had the CPU to handle a lot of plugs on many tracks. Then, all these crazy sales started happening and I thought my money would be well spent getting some nice software comps and EQ's along with a crazy deal on the TSAR-1 which is pretty good. In defense of Relab - it's the best ITB reverb I've ever used. I may own it again someday, but only if it comes with a .dmg installer. ?

Looks like the BR-1S is discontinued (I assume the "S" means the shielded version). The BR-1 (unshielded?) is the current version. Which would be the more desirable model?

I'll see if they have any out in the showroom. It's mostly live audio stuff in the showroom but I'm sure they have a pair in the warehouse.

I got the Parts Express speakers yesterday. I had about 1/2 hour to listen to them. They are smaller than NS-10's. They have a decent low end for their size. The AMT ribbon tweeters are very smooth and extended.
They were a bit damped on transients compared to what I'm used to here. They use a bipolar electrolytic cap with a 3 ohm power resistor for the crossover. The poly woofer runs full range, it seems to work ok as it rolls off rather steeply after 2k hz.
I soldered a Wonder Infinicap (.01uf at 600V) across the electrolytic caps and that fixed the transient damping. They sound pretty good for their size and cost.
