Ok fella's, i figured since we're living in the age of instant gratification(AKA smartphone period), i figured i'd start this take a picture of where you are "at", and post it instantly thread. Of course i'm thinking pro audio in scope(no here's the wall in front of my toilet photos ) Anyway, i hope it works and doesn't tumble down the page into the lame post abyss? This is what i'm up to right now as i'm on RGO, it's my build/write/track temporary desk, i'm desoldering and ic socketing SC delta 200 ch strips for the JW mods(only 40 more to go, woo hoo!), and behind me is one of my diy "under construction" racks. Enjoy!(man i got a lot to do )

Great thread. I tried uploading from my phone, but the attachment is too large. I'm currently in front of a soundcraft gb4 at my live gig.
Small show tonight, only 9 channels. Kick, snare, mono oh, bass, gtr, leslie top and bottom, two vocals.

Welp, this was my order packing bench a few hours ago. The next is my control room. It's pretty clear to see why I get no recording done 'round here. Attachments:

Jeff, cool studio. Looks like you got a sta in there, no?
I'm mixing for Frank Potenza tonight. Jazz guitarist from Cali.
P.S. I can only still upload a 3 x 1mb attachment. Not a single 3mb.

How do like the 670? Silly question but I don't know how else to get the conversation started!! Well, sadly there was a little damage during shipping. From the naked eye, a broken GZ34 rectifier tube and the top of the chassis/rack ears were bent all to hell. Thankfully, it was fully insured and the seller has been very good and responsive. He immediately filed a claim with FedEx. We are now waiting on a 3rd party repair quote and then an onsite inspection from a FedEx flunky. I ordered a tube (since no one locally had one, that I could find) that should come Tuesday. To be honest, I am leery to fire it up without looking thru the innards very closely. The very worst thing that can happen when shipping/receiving gear happened with a 660 none the less. I still don't think it has fully sunk in.

Yikes!! on the 660!! I would be less upset about my kidney getting damaged in shipping!!!

Kewl I just found this I made this backplate bout 1990 +- It took 2.5 hours alone of drill time to do the holes Front and back. Turned it down to correct blank size, drilled middle out bout .015 under and press fit the plastic In it. Then hope like hell I didn't mess them up. Sounded good to my surprise, that early in the game. I'm thinking of doing a couple of customs where I machine as many parts I can and whoever buys one. Put together a story with that showing the progress of it being built. Then agian I would have to have the time View AttachmentView AttachmentView Attachment What serial # 251's you got there?

I despise Fed Ex. They hire worthless subcontractors because they're cheap. Sickens me to hear this. Sorry J.

Thee best female vocalist on the planet, IMHO. She would blow the doors off it using a tin can and some string. She has gravitated away from the RFT and back to a 251?
