So here's what i'm up to right now, like a total 8/ i threw away 22 xlr connectors that were for the in/outs of my 2nd 51x rack, i had to order new ones from jeff and i'm finally finishing the box up! good thing, cause i should be picking up 4 more vp28's and 4 more lc53 eq's in the next month or so..yaaay! the second thing on the table, is the adcom gfa555 power amp, that i'm buffing out for my new supercharged diy proac 100 knock offs. It's been modded by Jim Williams, now i'm in the process of rewiring the whole thing with silver coated 16 awg, shielded 22 gauge, new grounded power cable, bypassing swithces and some fuses , i'm also hfe matching new transistors and recalibrating this bad boy, to get her balanced out and tip top! good times 8) after that it's on to my balanced power conditioner Tell me about these Pro Ac knock offs ! I need another speaker project! Hey Eric, my cabinets are built, i need to route the speaker holes next, they are down the list right now. Here's the link, go with the better caps, the deal is spectacular for a pair, cost well less than 1 proAc, and should sound every bit as good, and probably better with the scanspeak paper n pulp driver cone. www.troelsgravesen.dk/Studio101.htm#CROSSOVER%20KIT%20incl%20tweeter

nice job on those C, why u selling them? I built them on kind of a spur of the moment thing and while they are great, they just weren't what I needed.

In the "shop". Got a few DIY projects backed up. 51x Rack and PSU from CAPI, U76 and 2 nv73's from Don's Classic, and a Laz LA3a 500 from Peter P. Some times I would like to beat the computer trying to get the pics to work right!

mulmany hows the support for the PP La500? Well, the 2nd round provided much better forum info at groupdiy. There is also a good mouser cart that was posted. It is going to be the second unit I tackle after I finish the rack and PSU. I purchased most of my parts over 2 years ago when it first came out... so we will see if i got them right. At the time I was in the middle of gutting and renovating a house and then having a kid, so it was not priority. I just wanted to get one since it looked like Peter was not going to do anymore then that one run.
