I have a question, is anyone on this forum, not on at least 3 or 4 other forums? I'm on RealGearonline, GestapoSlutz, Groupdiy, SOS, Home recording, avid, studio corner...and some others. This is what i just received from GestapoSlutz? Those guys can't be serious?? They are seriously doomed to failure with this mentality. BTW, i was not trying to stir any shit, i'm innocent....kinda   |

I came here because jsteiger told me to . . . I'm very easily persuaded to do stuff especially when people ask me on facebook. Gearslutz is entertaining periodically and I have bought and sold things there from time to time, but I make it a point to read forum policies very carefully especially being a vendor these days. Different in every venue. Hopefully this place lands a huge sponsor soon and starts banning competitors immediately! I kid. . . I kid.
Well, hello to friends new and old. I think I'll have a look around and subscribe to a few interesting threads!

G!&*S&$tz is just becoming silly, IMHO. I will continue to leverage them from time-to-time, but overall they can f*&k off. And they don't even know what they are talking about: it's called "phishing", and, as we all know, it refers to malicious activity, which is obviously not applicable here. If they really got phished by bad guys, then they would have cause to complain. Morons.
Anyway, rant off. I do have a "Real" question (sorry): on this forum, I notice that we have page nav at the top of multi-page threads, but not at the bottom. Can this be added w/o pain?

John, I didn't know you were Annonymoose. I remember seeing your threads all over the classifieds, that's great.
Since we're talking GS a bit over here, wasn't Jules sending the PM to everyone about the parenting forum exactly the same "phishing" that Tony got an infraction for?
Also, did it piss anyone else off that there were a handful of classifieds posts that seem to automatically bump every night without any added text? I'm sick of having to scroll past a WTB Avedis E27 post and Matamp ad (among others) every morning when I check what's for sale.
John, so far so good with the site. Hopefully this site will stay populated with people that have some experience rather than the "I'm gonna buy an mBox, AT2020, a set of phones, and make a platinum album...what kind of cable do I need to hook the mic to the mBox?" threads! Just too many of those!

Well, he owns it...I guess we can start our own forum if we don't like it... Yeah - the mods always got sticky's with their gear...that annoyed me. I had TONS of run-ins with Sniperschool. He was the worst. |

Actually, Jeff i do have a complaint about your stuff. you never have transformers in stock so your kits are always out of stock :-P

Just wanted to put in a vote for a sticky thread that deals exclusively with forum-related suggestions, such as new features or sub-forums. I know everyone here hates gearslutz, but it's kind of annoying seeing every word that ends with a G and an S be truncated to G(B)S. Annoyings, Things, wonderings, happenings...
