Vintage Drew gaslighting screenshotted at the bottom of the 14.6.1 thread. Y'all will get a chuckle.

Agreed. I don't like how UA has seemingly abandoned, to a not insignificant degree, the pro market, though I get that the world is changing, and they are following the market. I REALLY don't like how their customer service has gone to shit, but even with that I at least can follow the bread crumbs to see how they got to a point where they felt the need to get rid of the phones, even if I strongly disagree with that decision. But... Why does UA have to have an asshole representing them as the public face of the company? I will never understand that. I don’t know…seems pretty on brand for the country right now. You’d think if [edited][there was someone] who gaslights and lies constantly, they’d be replaced by someone with people skills and empathy and wouldn’t get anywhere near a position of leadership or being the face of an organization. But they keep getting re-nominated to those positions. Life mirrors life. I hear what you're saying, but I guess I'm just not willing to yet accept that it must be this way.

I just don't think this kind of thing happens in a vacuum. Respectfully raising the issues in public and speaking with our wallets has an effect, even if it doesn't happen right away. I'm a much bigger fan of the town hall meeting than I am of the pitchforks. At this point I'm willing to throw UA some bones for a plug-in if the price is right because some of their offerings just have the sound I'm looking for, but I don't think I'll be purchasing any of their physical gear at this rate. And I'm definitely not giving them any perpetual subscription money.

That, and I do also like the sound of some of their plugins. But, man, I do think about just kicking UA to the curb sometimes. It still may happen if they keep this shit up.

It doesn’t have to be like this, all it takes is the more boutique vendors to step up and challenge companies like UAD, The problem is building the dealer base.
UA,s arrogance is an outgrowth of the closed ecosystem they built, you were going to put up with the crap because of your prior investment. Spark eliminates that & the powers that be need to realize they are evolving into just another me too interface and plugin company.

UA could use a good dose of humility.
