Their summing boxes are built in Rome I think, but I know I have seen references to European tech support too.

I'm not TOTALLY sure this doesn't make things the slightest bit smaller on the bottom end. Could just be taming the kick and bass (no HPF) and it's making it sound a little smaller. Wish I had the AS or Stam here to compare...

Wish I had the AS or Stam here to compare... Small like EQ’d or small like lack of impact? Or maybe put another way, can you EQ after the comp to get where you need to go? Very common in my world.

Eq…I really think what I was hearing was it clamping down on the kick - clamping is an aggressive word - but it just “made it smaller.” But that could actually be doing exactly what it’s supposed to.

And I’m not sure how many percentage of this unit is truly Behringer. Or if it’s rather a Klark-Teknik and Midas creature. People always forget that if there is a big concern who aquires companies, it doesn’t mean necessarily they do the product or design or even engineering. When I write Adam Audio or Sequential or Novation, nobody says naaah dude it’s just Focusrite. Seemingly and surprisingly Behringer tries to be a marketing puller within Musictribe group, after so many negative connotations for decades. Bad ad can be very effective too.(Also I was surprised how KT-67 price dropped by 50% suddenly, but that’s another side story.) Maybe that is only interesting for me to check what’s happening inside corporates. Anyway, I got today a B-Stock 369-KT (Klark Teknik ) for around 380 EUR plus VAT. I do not understand the potmeter complaints. Tough but not superbad, it’s a satisfying click. If someone is held back from creating art… hmmm… I don’t know. Maybe I’m old and not so picky. Anyway, I’m curious how it will serve electronic music materials.

I haven’t completely decided if I like it better than putting the Mk-609 or UAD plugs on. I know my limiter doesn’t seems to work as much with the hardware and more with the plugs. If I ultimately can’t tell a difference, I might sell…so far I think I can tell a positive difference.
