Yeah — I just read the email.
It’s a wait-and-see moment.

Kind of defeats the purpose of the hardware, no? This makes me sad, in a way.

So I’m probably the least experienced guy on this site but, I put the demo of the Silve Bullet plugin on a finished mix just to check it out . This mix was tracked and mixed thru some very high end hardware. The LTL plugin seemed to open up ,glue, and make the mix sound even more like hardware . Then I put Acustica Mystic plugin before the SB plugin and WOW!! As been stated about the SB I’ve finally heard the sound of a mix I’ve been searching for. It was 5 o’clock this morning so maybe I was dreaming lol But I’m off to try on another mix if the same results it’s worth twice the money JMO

Until I listen to it after a good sleep at least 🥸

I see plugin alliance has it on sale and added to their subscription service. Give it some time they will eventually have it on sale for $29 or $49.

Why anyone would be sad because of this release?
I just hope it's a good plugin. Like the hardware, so more people can enjoy the sonic qualities of the unit.
I also hope LTL is getting a good cut of the sales, because they're good people.

Very few people are set apart from the crowd anymore, since everyone ultimately sound the same. I like LTL, and think their gear ( hardware ) is great, especially the Silver Bullett. I only wish them well.......

People should set themselves apart from the crowd because of talent and hardwork, nothing to do with the equipment. The homogenization of output has nothing to do with a greater accessibility of the technical part of things, it has to do with talents becoming themselves products, and being part of a industry that would like to make artists like they make cars.

Guys - more details here : louderthanliftoff.com/products/silver-bullet-mk2-pluginHope you like it. A lot of work and listening has gone into this by MANY people with excellent ears. I'm one of the few guys out there who has had multiples of the hardware, and that's been really useful to me. Now everyone who has the hardware on their mix bus can also put a SB on busses, instruments, etc.. There are definite differences between the two, with each having their strong points. Just a few additional notes : this plugin was developed by LTL not Plugin Alliance. It's an LTL product. PA is distributing the plugin for us. It's available for purchase in either place - LTL or PA. It's not our first plugin - Chop Shop was. The SB mk2 been in the works for quite awhile. DynaRealism is NOT TMT - it's a proprietary LTL design that mimics the differences in analog gear. Hardware owners should have gotten an additional discount. If you didn't get the email, give me a shout, or contact Deegan @ LTL.

We're only limited by our imaginations...THAT'S what people are lacking. Not access to unique hardware.

Even better. Now I really want to buy this plugin. I have the mkI for my mix bus, and always wondered if I wanted more units for other buses.

PS - guys - don't sleep on the DynaRealism. This sprouted from an idea I had about digital prints always being a little 2 dimensional compared to running live with actual analog hardware playing live in the mix. Brad and Josh jumped on that, and what we ultimately came out with was/is - IMO - pretty much ahead of anything else in the digital plugin game. Enough so that Brad filed for a patent on it.

This sounds exciting and I'm looking forward to trying the SB plugin. The dimensional difference between plugs and hardware is often noticeable to me and I've looked forward to when software conquers that aspect more consistently. Congrats to you Dr. Bill and everyone at LTL!
