Is this 2 for $100 deal available now? I'd love to get that if I could.
I've had an Apollo from day one. The absolutely indispensable UAD plug is the Ampex ATR-102. It's been on my 2 bus since forever. I could do an album with that thing alone.

Yes, its the 2 for $148 but you should also have 2 $25 coupons in your account , put something in your cart and available coupons will appear as a list in your cart, the two $25 are listed last.

Seems to be till end of year
I already got both Hitsvill plugins and I currently have both the LA2A and 1176 bundles sitting in my cart while I think about it. … I’ve been using the standard one of each that came with my Apollos for years. I am wondering if I would be gaining any real options or just creating more decision time wasting as I faff around with the various versions?

I am wondering if I would be gaining any real options or just creating more decision time wasting as I faff around with the various versions? That depends, the legacy LA-2A was good for its time (back in the early 2000's) but not really comparable by today's standards. If it's the new version then nah, I wouldn't bother.

The mkii’s were completely redone so are a complete signal path emulation, unlike the legacy. I’d argue yes and if you use coupons and buy in two seperate purchases, you should trigger a new coupon reducing price of second purchase, remember BF coupon can be used twice. This just happened to me so for example now I could buy pultec collection on sale for $149, for $29, you gkt to hand it to ua, they get you coming and going !

Wow this is a good deal.
I’ve not seen the 2 for $100 before.
I’m definitely going to grab two!
Problem is which two …. mmmh?

Couple thoughts from my own demo-ing last night I figured I'd share.
1) C-Vox... I don't get it? I don't know, maybe my recordings are pretty dry already or maybe I'm doing it wrong. Either way, I tested this out on my own vocals on a demo I'm working on and the "room" reduction made the vocal sound worse in a hard-to-define way while the ambience reduction didn't do anything to minimize the headphone bleed. Granted, this was a pretty quality recording to begin with so maybe not the best use case but I was bummed out that it didn't kill the headphone bleed. If it can't do that, what's the point?
2) If you're like me and you record in two locations, one with a UAD device and one without... maybe consider purchasing plugs that are also available on Spark? I went with the Lexicon 224 instead of the 480 for this reason. I like being able to get roughs at my remote location with Spark (or other Native tools) and bring them back to my mix room. I often end up leaving those settings.
3) Is it just me or are all the settings on Hitsville Chamber in serious need of LPF? Could be the vocal track I was working on. I got a sound I liked but maybe Capitol is more my style. Which would be weird since I'm a real-life Motown junkie. Not giving up on this one! Trying more sources today.
4) Speaking of Lexicon 224... if, like me, you have somehow avoided getting this plug up until this point. Just buy it. I feel like kind of an idiot. This thing is awesome. Who knew? (Answer: Everybody but me!). Plus there's an extra $75 off for The Lexicon 224 so it's a real no-brainer.

Chandler Curvebender and Cooper Timecube.
Love Curvebender but, worth noting, it is also available Native through Softube. Not sure at what price.

Have you seen the non-pro version of the Seventh Heaven? Curious if it's like "well, that's 90% of what anyone uses anyway" or if it's more like "umm... if you're gonna buy that you might as well go all the way, cuz it misses the whole point." I never used the non-pro version. For anyone wondering about the differences between the versions, here's a link. Did some demo-ing of the vanilla Seventh Heaven and it's really pretty good. I'll probably demo the big boy Pro version tonight to see if I get on with the tweak features but I'm certainly at least buying the entry version. Nothing was "wow" but pretty much everything was better (and I've got some pretty decent 'verbs). If that makes sense.

The UA buy 3 get 3 deal using the two coupons is also very tempting.
It makes a great price for 6 UAD plugins.

Stop screwin around and just buy Ultimate 11 for $1200 ! I know, go big or go home. Small matter of $1200 Also, I already own so many it's not actually that good a value for me as there's a lot of the utility ones I'd never use. I already have most of the main ones. The two I really want are Hitsville Chamber Hitsville EQ So I guess the Choice 2 bundle is spot on prise wise.

Stop screwin around and just buy Ultimate 11 for $1200 ! I bought most of UA plugins just over a year ago on an exremely low cost seasonal bundle. Then I decided to buy a lot of HW and don't use a fraction of it, totally worth it.

The UA buy 3 get 3 deal using the two coupons is also very tempting. It makes a great price for 6 UAD plugins. I was going to go that route, but I think buying multiple 'pick any 2' bundles might actually be the better deal depending on how many vouchers you have available. It was for me.

if you can reuse coupons, isn't it the same cost per plug if you buy 2-plugin bundles ($100, $125, $125) vs 3-plugin with buy one, get one ($350)?

Normally, you can’t reuse, the bf repeat was just a xmas treat. Also, for the other bundles more than 2, ua doubles what you can pick 6 for 3, etc up to 20 for 10, I think. The U11 deal is fantastic for the new ua uninvested client, alm ja plugs fir $1200, for those of us who have already spent $1,000’s, ( in my case twice, selling out and buying back in), no proration fir ultimate price . I don't use unison, so wouldn’t want all the plugs anyway, still can’t get my head around ua’s different offering for new vs established clients.

My first 'buy any 2' bundle was only $75 after vouchers. #2 is $100. If I do a third, it'll be $125 unless UA decide to do another extension. So, would the '3+3' bundle be cheaper than buying three 'buy any 2' bundles for $300?

Only you know your coupons so figure out your net price based on the plugs you want but I think the 3 starts st $399, so 6 for same price is a 50% savings, which inceases based on your coupon discount.

I'm so frustrated today. I need to buy a new monitor and backup disk drive asap. So after paying my regular bills, including some nasty medical bills, I just don't have any extra cash. I'll just have to wait for the next time something like this comes up.
I think I would have gotten the Capitol Chambers and the 176, but might have compared it to the Tube Tech Cl1b before doing the payment.
I'm curious if anyone has compared those two compressors for a main vocal.

I already own that plug so I couldn't use it but that plus the two $25 coupons could get you a heck of a deal. I own it so I can't see if it's on sale, but if it's at $179 you could be looking at $50. I see your posts a lot and I think you and I share sonic tastes, if so you will really love that plugin. Hope you can make it work!
