Super dumb thread, but I am being indecisive. I think I want to jump on the pick 2 UAD plugs for 100 bucks. Seems like a good deal. It's been years since I've bought a UAD plug, but I have pretty much everything I want.
Thinking about grabbing the Hitsville reverb, Hitsville EQ, AMS Delay, UA 176, API 2500 or the 480L. I have a ton of Liquidsonics verb, plus pretty much all of the UAD verb and a Bricasti. I dunno. Maybe I should just pass on the sale.

I concentrate my UAD plugs in three places: master buss, verb/delay auxes and unison preamps. I stick to stock Logic plugs as much as possible on individual tracks and stems. This approach helps me maximize the value of my DSP while preserving interchangeability with my writing/production partners who also use Logic. So, maybe pick up two of the otherwise expensive mastering plugs like the Curve Bender, Shadow Hills or Manley VariMu. How about a signature reverb like the 224? If you have Unison capability, the Helios Pre or 55 Tweed come to mind. Looking at what you have, I think the Hitsville stuff would be cool. It’s a unique vibe, like Capital Chambers or Ocean Way. Not easily duplicated elsewhere.

I don't have any Unison capabilities, though. I've also got a slew of really choice outboard as well.

That's why I don't do UAD.

I think the Hitsville verb is the current no brainer given its actual price.
I had demoed the eq a fair bit, if you haven’t watched its demo video, I’d suggest you do, as its mastering half speed functions are intriguing.
So, I’d suggest those two: what $550 of plugs for $99 ?

Plus, I have never and will never pay UAD full list prices for their plugins.

Ocean Way rules it! I have Altiverb and still use OWS on every mix! Aside from that, I do think the 33609 is special even though it’s terribly old at this point.
I’m in a similar boat. I demoed a bunch of stuff today for a similar reason.
The only one I’m impressed with is hitsville chamber - I can’t imagine reaching for a chamber but it did sound damn cool.

With UA, you can always wait in 1-2 years the $350 plug new will be half price, but getting two plugs of your choice for $50 is very good value

Patching, and the inevitable ghost in the machine, equipment failure, etc. Then, there’s pinging for HW delay compensation, etc.

I went for Hitsville chamber and the CVox noise reduction because it's one of the more expensive / least on sale ones up to now the 2 bundle with coupon was worth it for sure

I was considering adding Seventh Heaven. As a Bricasti owner whaddya think? The non-pro version is $70 and looks very fast to dial (I’m not a tweaker).

For sure. Planning on it. I guess I’m wondering how the lite version compares to the real thing. Not that it matters I suppose. If it sounds good… well, you know the rest!

I’ve A/B’d them at the same presets. There is undeniably more transparency and depth to the Bricasti. There is also undeniably more cost.

Curious if it's like "well, that's 90% of what anyone uses anyway" or if it's more like "umm... if you're gonna buy that you might as well go all the way, cuz it misses the whole point."

Liquid sonics makes great verbs. Cinematic Rooms is killer. And I say that as a Bricasti owner. The name kinda threw me off of it for a bit, thought it was more of a post for video/film tool, but it’s really great.

Listened too some samples and they sounded pretty good, but I assumed it wasn't for me.
