I've gotten in the habit of getting a plug from Fuse Audio each time there's a sale. Just grabbed the 864U. Haven't used it yet but I bet it'll end up being really good. I've kind of done the same, with a couple times getting several plugs. This time, I got the channel strip. I never really got hard into channel strips but my default ITB channel is now the Fuse strip plus a TDR Slick EQ. They will get you far. The VCS-1's preamp and filters alone can get tracks into a very nice starting point before even touching EQ or dynamics. Hope you like it. |

Soundtoys finally released Super Plate and I haven't checked myself but I've heard that if you have Little Plate it's only a $29.99 crossgrade. Thank you for the heads up, I logged in and it looks like it will let me upgrade my 5.1 bundle to 5.4 which adds Super plate and is silicone AAX Native for $29 through June 14th |

If so, I don't fit either of those. Curious. If I could actually get that code to work, I'd probably get the LA2A Collection and the 1176 Collection. Maybe even Fairchild, too.

Try this Mark......I thought the same at first that the sale might be for UAD Hardware owners only on those items even though those plugs also run native on UADx. I also got the email but had trouble at first purchasing logged in to UA before adding to cart. So I then tried selecting the plug I wanted to buy while being logged out, and then after adding the plugin to my cart it prompted me to log in to pay for it, where I then added the code and it did work that way for me. I also installed it and checked in PT and everything worked fine native for me. I am not a UA hardware owner. Hope that helps! |

I'm pretty sure I'd like the 1176 upgrade, I'd love to have the blue stripe. I'm not a big LA2A type, but I really dig the Pultec and use those a lot. Fairchild has been more hit or miss than I expected. Thanks for any thoughts on the upgrades. |

And then when I try to use the coupon, it tells me it's not valid. Hopefully UA CS support can resolve the issue for you before that sale ends 5/25 since the email does say available natively. I couldn't get it to work the first day for me either before the following day I found that adding to cart while logged out then prompted me to log in to a pop up window and it showed up in my cart and allowed me to use the code. I wonder if while UA transitions from hardware plug users to adding Native users, and straddles sales or offers to different camps through web pages that may or not recognize user types (and look/respond differently), if trying a different Browser or computer would work?........ just a thought.... |
