I’ll say this - I don’t think I have ever heard of anyone having tube issues with Chandler equipment. From first-hand experience, I have had 2 minor issues with 2 different pieces of Chandler equipment. Minor (!). In both cases, I received in-person (!) support. I own a decent collection of higher-end recording equipment from reputable manufacturers, and still my support experience with Chandler (thanks spock) remains both unparalleled and unprecedented in my limited experience. That is entirely beside the fact that I just love my pair of RS124s endlessly, and would simply love to get my hands and ears around a pair of these RS660s.. (which is probably a terrible idea.. sigh) Chandler will go to any lengths to keep us happy. They understand customer relationships like no other company I’ve dealt with. Adam is a star. |

As a minor gripe though, there’s no good reason to not publish it. Follow the methodology used for all the classics it attempts to emulate. Manuals used to go into great detail about this aspect, so engineers could modify if needed.

Anyone compared theirs to a Mercury 66? Or Amtec 099’s? I also have Pom’s Fairchild an OWA, thermionic Phoenix and RS124’s so I’m not desperate for 660 or EMI flavours. I’m curious to know how big these go.
