Chris And if you haven't yet, his "Backstage Passes and Backstabbing Bastards" is a great read of his involvement in the music industry. Very informative and written with a wonderfully self-deprecating sense of humor. Highly recommended. |

The Heiserman method to mic-ing a 122 Leslie. H251 on top, and the H47t on the bottom. Of course if you want stereo on top, a pair of the H251s would come in handy.

Curious on those who've received theirs - the email I received three weeks or so ago was a bit confusing saying something like "your spot is coming up soon in the next batch and we'll be sending out invoices. Let us know if you need to remain on the waitlist."
I took that to mean if I sent no response, just wait on the invoice and if I wasn't purchase-ready now, let them know.
Do I have that right or was I supposed to respond? I'm in no rush as we just wrapped a record and I'm in the process of moving my studio (again, lol).

Hi Bat,
The email is for the client to know that their position in the queue has come and their mic is being built up/ tested... A non-response to the email puts the client back on the waitlist. I have since changed the wording of the email to include "please reply and let us know". You are still on the list and another email will go out once we cycle back around.
