Very intrigued by this mic. Anyone else checked this out yet? Looks to be still being designed. I love my bu87, so I'll definitely be waiting to see if they have another killer introductory price. Edit: their Facebook says 2499$AUD.. so about 1800$USD.. That's a bit much for me.

Wonder if it will be multipattern or just cardioid?

I don’t see any pattern switching

Pattern switching could be on the power supply. It seems like it was that way on a couple of other BeesNeez mics I tried if I remember correctly.

I have the Arabella and its pattern switching is on the PS. It's a good decade old though so may not be how they're still doing that.

This is really tempting. I can't wait to hear how it sounds.

Curious if that first batch is already spoken for. I messaged and didn’t hear back.
Been wanting a 67 clone for a while. Kicking myself for not jumping on a cheap ($1500) stam one the other day

Ben takes time to respond, but he builds a pretty nice mic and is very honest about what the sources are for the major components. I do really like his M7 and the cross between an M7 and K47. It just made me crave the real deal.

Ben told me that he can add a switch to the BU67 to switch the bias between a U67 and an M269 (which he said he prefers). I just wish I could demo it. I'm curious, but not sure if I'm willing to buy to try.

Seems that they are selling for 1500$USD. That's not terrible. I had hoped to be more around 1200$ though. It's intriguing at 1500$ but I'd buy today at 1200$.

I’ve never tried a BeezNeez mic. I hear great things about their 87 though.

I love his vintage 87 clone. I could definitely see myself grabbing one of these.

There are some clips here of the BU67 next to a vintage U67. They haven’t provided a key yet.
Per the thread: Mic 1 the BU67 and mic 2 the U67.

Whoa! I preferred mic 1 in every single example and Ben just confirmed it is the BU67 🤯. I just ordered one!
