This seems confusing. I have no hardware and bought the Signature bundle during the last sale. It includes , i believe all the uadx plugs currently in the subscription plan or all the plugs that ua has made native and I have perpetual licenses as I am not in the subscription plan. I have to use ua connect to download and install, as they are uadx. In ilok, i can choose to Manage their authorization location: cloud, dongle or on my computer. If, on my computer, I will have no cloud issues running those plugs, as my system and its authorizations are computer not cloud based: correct ? What's confusing? Correct, you don't need to own hardware to buy the native bundles. Only Ultimate and Complete have this requirement. Our Spark sub is native only. We do not offer machine auth for all plugins at this time. Only LUNA app and the free LA2 as well as Hemisphere. So it's Cloud or USB. Hope this helps.

THX, Boss and I have another confab about ilok authorizations/UA connect problems in another thread! He seems to need to constantly reset his authorizations if I understood him: was just surprised as I never do, but have them in my computer. You can have all the sub plugs as perpetual licenses, if you’ve bought them .

Just to confirm, as it sounds like things got crossed somewhere in there, all my plug-ins are authorized, but they don’t work unless UA connect is allowed to open and verify that I’m connected to the Internet, every time. I think I confused things by calling that a re-authorization because that’s what I thought it was doing at the time. And yeah, I get it if it’s Spark and it’s a subscription where you don’t technically own any of the plugins, but it’s annoying for having paid for perpetual licenses and still needing to be constantly tethered online.

All good, think the only outstanding is confirming where your authorizations are, as I said, I never have to do what you are doing, just instantiate UA plugs in daw, like normal.

Or you manage the authorization location, and then set it where you want, in my case on computer.

Actually, so far UA Connect has been incredibly buggy software - with a mind of its own - ironic for a software developer! They had/ have some fairly crazy videos about how to uninstall- reinstall etc. A real mess! It was actually a GS member who alerted me to a fix that so far has worked So currently I have my UAD and UADx plug-ins working - so that’s good news …. but I never know what tomorrow will bring
