Drawmer's later stuff rules. If you can't get the 1978 to do what you want on drum bus, nothing will. Another vote for the 1978. I use that thing all the time.

OK, you are in the lead for the "most ridiculous" find.
They are even doing the favor of not getting rid of 3 decades of dust -- gives it that vintage smell.
Also, that thing has been sitting in Hawaii for how long?? The constant salt ocean breeze over the islands feels great, but corrodes metal in days...not years. I've seen it first-hand.

I'm tempted to sell my original Teletronix LA2A with prices north of $15k but I actually love the unit and its pedigree.

Really isn’t every Behringer piece the most over priced ?

Really isn’t every Behringer piece the most over priced ? Unless you are counting Klark Teknik. For the $ those kt-2as and kt-76s do an excellent job. More happy with the KT comps I have vs Warm stuff I no longer have.

It's like people are playing the lottery with these things/prices...

It's like people are playing the lottery with these things/prices... Add the AMS classics RMX and DMX to that list. I thought I had taken a complete bath on my AMS RMX-16 several years ago after sending it to David Kulka, but it was worth it. Now it feels like a bargain by current standards.

I'm holding onto my Grampian 666 spring, seems like it is doubling in value every 12 months. Maybe I can retire in 5 years?

I desperately want a moog voyager before i‘m eternally priced out. They seem to go for 2,500 minimum these days, more for euros. Do you think Gear will eventually go down in price or is it like real estate?

Here's some inflation for ya. I've been waiting on Tech Support on my Vari Mu to let me know what I needed. I figured I would have to buy new tubes. Yup. But in the time it took to get an answer, unless my mind is playing tricks on me, the tubes I need went from $280 to $440. And that's only part of the ones I need. I need the T-Bar mod tubes too. Make that $600 for a re-tube. And that's doing all the calibration stuff myself. Insane....

Manley's tubes have always been "expensive." You could call it ludicrous, maybe. Or you could bypass them and try to source your own tubes.
Might be a little harder these days with the Russia thing but there are probably still tubes coming in from China, and all the old spares out there on eBay and whatnot.

AMS RMX-16David Kulka serviced in 2016, doesn't work as it should, but seller does not have the energy to sort it out. Only $4200 though. Seller is open to offers. Lol.

Whoa! for the price of that Klon Centaur - think of the 2 or 3 great boutique amps one could buy. (Oh I forgot - there will no longer be tubes in the future OMG...Get the pedal. But Let us now pray for another outcome.)

All I know is my 15-20 pieces of Stam outboard/mics is 30%-50% more on reverb than what I paid with early bird pricing ... good things come to those who (can) wait (yrs) lol
